“Handy location Seattle”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

Beautiful clean very modern rooms for the money. Ideal location at the airport and can walk one block to catch the rail to downtown Seattle and save the $40 taxi fare. They stored our bags as we had an early arrival in a secure location and good transportation to the airport.

New owners have invested heavily to make this former Holiday Inn a superb upscale hotel; a high energy, "happening" lounge; moderately-priced restaurant with relaxing ambiance, beautifully refurbished rooms, friendly, professional staff. Overall, a great value!

Room Tip: From all indications, all rooms are quiet (especially considering proximity to the airport) and well...

My mom and I traveled to Seattle July 21-24, her for business and I for pleasure. Her meetings were just a short walk away at a nearby hotel. There's a light rail station just an even shorter walk from this hotel, which worked out great for me as I traveled into the city to catch a Mariners game and meet up with friends. The lightrail is definitely the way to go if you want to go into town to sightsee, party, catch a game, shop, etc. The hotel was recently rennovated and there was a bit of construction going on in the lobby, but it wasn't bothersome whatsoever. The updates are gorgeous! I loved the sliding doors on the bathroom in our room. The staff was so friendly everywhere around the hotel, always bidding us good morning and such. The front desk staff even let me use their computer to print off my ticket for the Mariner's game. The airport shuttle is also great and efficient. The onsite restaurant was WONDERFUL. Service was quick, friendly staff, DELICIOUS food (actually the best food I had the entire trip). The room itself was very nice and comfortable (beds were amazing). I was pleasantly surprised that being so close to the airport, our room was very quiet! I heard maybe a total of four airplanes the entire trip, which is pretty increidble considering how many planes are flying in and out all day. I would definitely stay here again in the future if needing to stay outside of town. Highly reccommend staying here!

Very happy with my recent stay at the Seattle Crowne Plaza. It was walking distance from the Seattle airport and also the light rail to downtown Seattle. This was a weekend trip with my wife and it was a perfect location to fly in, drop off our luggage, and hop the light rail downtown. Rooms were nice, front desk staff very friendly and helpful, food was ok, drinks a little expensive, but overall a great place to stay....

This was our second stay at this hotel (Formerly Holiday Inn) the updates from last year to this are duly noted. The beds were comfortable with down comforters. The room itself was immaculate. The toiletries were nice. The onsite restaurant has a good variety of choices and my husband and I enjoyed the HUGE cheeseburgers (they were amazing). The Sunday brunch buffet was also good and kept fresh and stocked. The staff at this hotel were absolutely awesome. We were greeted by everyone who passed us. To being on the elevator to passing the housekeeping staff in the hallways. Everyone made effort to be friendly. Our check-out was fast and one of the desk staff even offered me a water bottle to-go !! Great prices compared to downtown options and quick walk to light rail to get to all the Seattle area attractions. We are locals and know how difficult it can be getting around. Front desk staff were very knowable of area.

Room Tip: Pick a room facing Mt. Rainer (when it is out is it just magical)

We stayed at the SEATAC airport Crowne Plaza not by choice, but because virtually all downtown Seattle hotels were booked solid. The Hotel is a newly renovated and "promoted" Holiday Inn, and the remodeling is very successful. The staff was wonderful, including helping us in a medical emergency situation, and doing so very discretely, and in a way that was protective of our privacy. The room (including the bed) was comfortable and well-appointed. The breakfasts were incredibly good value. We were especially pleased by the service provided by Nasir in the dining room, and by Stephen at the front desk. The only negative: the Business Center's printer was not functioning. A note to that effect would have been most helpful. It also needs to be noted that this is not designed for any kind of long stay. There was practically no place to put away clothes.

All in all, this is an excellent hotel, and we would certainly come again if we were in the area another time.

All the staff that we encountered were friendly and welcoming. The room was remodeled and was clean. The best part of the hotel I thought, was that we just had to walk out the hotel entrance and the light rail entrance was right next door. It worked for us, because we had an early morning flight and wanted to be right next to the airport but also were able to reach downtown very easily.
