“Ugh; please find a better place”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 weeks ago

Very rough hotel, with very rough staff and clientele. The lock on my door was broken, and I didn't know the room was unlocked all night. Kid at the front desk could not have cared less. The ceiling had holes in it from prior leaks, some of the light bulbs in the room were out, and the bathroom tile was moldy and discolored. Airport shuttle bus was broken, so they were using some guy's white min-pickup. I kid you not! "Breakfast" was bags of bread, a toaster, some mini-muffins, some juice, and coffee, with seating that looked like it was dragged from a thrift shop.

Room Tip: If you have any choice at all, look at the room before you accept the key.

We have stayed here before while travelling through Washington, and will stay again. The hotel is a little older and some of the cosmetics may not be pleasing to the eye (missing light dome covers, and handles on the taps were busted) but I'm all about comfort and quiet. We stayed while driving from BC to Arizona and honestly, it was the best sleep we had in two weeks. The place is clean enough and close to everything food, gas, etc. And despite being right next to Seatac, it is very quiet. Actually last year when we stayed we used their park and ride and literally walked from the Airport to their lot to get our car!

I probably would not stay here for a week but as an over night stay, I highly recommend it.

The price is certainly right!!

Staff is friendly enough and they have a small breakfast in the AM.

Granted, not one of the nicest motels I've ever stayed at, but for a cheap few hours' kip within walking distance of SeaTac airport, it's ok. Big TV, lots of channels, clean bathroom, comfy bed, sufficient breakfast items, just a bit gaudy on the paintwork. No restaurant in the immediate vicinity but several within 10 minutes of walking. Also just 1 block away from the Skytrain.

The room was dirty, we repeatedly asked for service, they never came. We were forced to wear shoes in the room and sleep in our clothes on top of the bed covers.

A complaint was later forwarded to manager with no response.

On the plus side, location was close to the airport.

If there was a negative rating, I would have to give it that. The free shuttle driver expected us to unload our luggage into the main lobby. The place was convenient but dirty and nasty. We canceled our reservation and went to the crown plaza next door. Granted it was $100 more a night, but it was so worth it not to have spent the night at this Rodeway Inn. Please save your money (might have been better to sleep in the airport).
Orbitz.com rated this a 4 1/2 stars. The picture of this hotel & lobby are NOT what is there now. The lobby is dirty and smelled moldy. I will now have great reservation when looking at Orbitz reviews

The hotel was clean. It is right across the street from the airport and they provided a free shuttle and luggage storage. TV didn't work and front desk did not answer my call about it, though it was very late. Breakfast was cereal and toast. There was a cookie box but it was empty at both check in and check out. Drain in the bath tub needed to be cleaned (of hair) as did the laminated info paper on the desk. It was full of something sticky. The waste temperature in the shower was very erratic. I know you get what you pay for, but I was too uncomfortable to go back.
