Apart from being close to the airport (15 miles from downtown) and surrounded by a lower income residential area, this hotel is as described. Very, very good hotel.

Nice clean rooms. Great free breakfast. Decent hotel gym. Plenty of extras at no cost.

Perfect hotel to stay at close to the Seattle Airport: with free shuttle to/from airport, great workout room, and quiet, tranquil grounds.
There was a Common Living Area in our building that was stocked with complimentary snacks such as yogurts, cheese, chips, malted milk balls, and ice cream. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable with black-out shades. The bathroom was spotless and large with an over-sized tub.
My Favorite thing was the massive dining area they served the free breakfast in. It was so serene and comfortable. I have never experienced a relaxing "free breakfast" before. The clientele was dressed appropriately and the food selections were quite impressive, for instance, smoked salmon, bagels, cream cheese and capers.
We also had dinner here and the food was 5 star quality. My only complaint was that they dragged the dinner out a little too long. We ordered the 5 course meal and although we were seated at 6:45 and had ordered before 7:15, our main course did not arrive at our table until 8:30.
I hope I have an opportunity to stay here again.

This place has become so popular with those who have finally discovered it that you better make your reservations early. They are always upgrading their facilities. This time, my wife and I had a room with one of their new king size beds. Talk about a luxury mattress! Soft, cloud like and did I mention what a great night's sleep! For those who have never been to the Cedarbrook you need to try it just once. That's all it takes. Outstanding service from the time you arrive to check in and are offered ice-cold tea to the time you depart (still offering that wonderfully flavored ice tea). There are free treats in the "living room" of each area for rooms--Spruce and Dogwood--beautiful paths, gardens to explore and you can't believe you're a few blocks away from one of the busier airports. Their restaurant is definitely upper end but if you try it, you won't be disappointed---the flavors that come from the preparations of their executive chief are unbelievable.

Room Tip: Rooms have now king -size beds or two queens.

An oasis in the middle of the city just seconds from Seatac Airport. Free suttle to train and airport. Livingrooms set up for guest with snacks and water bootles. Rooms are very clean, comfortable with darkening shades and AC. The grounds are filled with beautiful gardens, paths, bridges and fountains. Truely amazing to be seconds from the buzz of the airport and the roar of the city and to be in a quiet wooded place.

Room Tip: No hot tub or pool which I was quite disappointed by. Would be perfect with them.

DO NOT STAY ANYWHERE ELSE. This is a great place. Food, service, comfort is 5 stars. I've stayed here 7 nights in the past two months. Never an ounce of disappointment. The only regret I have is that my early flights don't let me enjoy breakfast at the hotel. I will never book anyplace else when I need to stay near SEA.

We were very impressed by the serenity of Cedarbrook! The hotel is lovely and the grounds are beautiful! Our room was quiet and comfortable. A little pricier than some of surrounding mega hotels but good value for the experience. The shuttle service was exceptional. We used it to vet to and from the light rail. We also enjoyed a lovely dinner in the Copperleaf restaurant.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for staying with us! It is always comforting to know when a guest has an impressive experience. Moreover, as you know, our proximity to the Emerald City is a mere light rail ride away - yet you can enjoy the serenity of a lodge in the middle of the urban enviornment of SeaTac.

I also would like you to thank you for doscovering our signature, farm-to-table restaurant, Copperleaf - certainly an added enhancement to any stay.

Come see us again!

The Cedarbook Lodge is hands down one of the most interesting and enjoyable hotels I have ever been to. My wife and I were looking for a place away from the downtown area for our last night in the Pacific Northwest before heading home. I had never heard of the Cedarbrook, but we decided to give it a try after reading so many terrific reviews – and we were not disappointed. The hotel has done a great job at creating that lodge experience – the whole place has a forested feel, complete with streams, wooden pathways, and large open areas. What makes this so unique is that it is located just seconds from a fairly busy street.

The hotel is situated with a main building for reception, the restaurant and lounge, the breakfast area, and the business center. Guest rooms are located in one of two separate buildings connected to the main building via covered walkway. The rooms are small but organized well, the fitness center (located on the first floor of our building) was large and equipped nicely, and there are “living rooms” located in the guest buildings with couches, free ice cream, water, and other snacks.

We decided to eat at the lounge because it has a nice happy hour menu and because the main restaurant, Copperleaf, is a little pricey. Good complimentary continental breakfast is included with all room rates. The $15 rate for valet parking might be a little steep, but the valet service was excellent.

If you’re looking for a place away from the action, and for a nice relaxing experience, the Cedarbrook is ideal.
