“A hidden treasure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2011

After a long day of travel this place feels like you have been transported to a tranquil spot far from the city. Hard to believe that you are only 10 minutes from the airport. Spent one night in a regular room on the start of our holiday and one night in the suite on the way home. The suite is worth every extra penny and is very reasonably priced. It was located on the end of one of the buildings and had huge windows overlooking the grounds. The staff are very helpful and professional and offer a high level of service. The continental breakfast was top notch. I will not consider staying anywhere else when flying out of Seattle.

This is our third stay here. Last year we bookended a trip to Seattle. This year we flew back to Sea/Tac to explore Oregon and had to stay at Cedarbrook again! We love this place! We love the look and feel of the modern but comfortable architecture and soft lights. My kids love it also. We love the family room with the snacks, especially with a late flight...cheese sticks, water and yogurt hit the spot at midnight. The candy and the ice cream are also fun for that "must have" treat...just because. The rooms are not huge, but nicely set up and comforabel with good products in the bathroom AND you can brew Starbucks while showering..not a bad way to start a Seattle trip. The breakfast has moved to a bigger room and the lobby changed somewhat also, but it is very nice. It is not a super family friendly place, not much for kids to do, but it is a great place to sleep and have breakfast...kids can deal without the pool and snack machines! The breakfast has terrific oatmeal and granola that I often replicate at home. I just can't say enough about how much I like this hotel. The price went up quite a bit from last year, I am sure it will continue to do so as it gains popularity. I will be sad then, because it is a great location to the airport and our family loves it there...even without the pool and junk!

Room Tip: try expedia.

The hotel was awesome, check in was super fast and the clerk could not be bothered to tell us about the hotel amenities, there is a room with candy and snacks and even bottled water and ice cream, which we did not discover until we were checking out.
The rooms were beautiful with so many channels to watch, many more than you expect in a hotel. Good quality soap and products in the room and even a robe for your use.
The restaurant is very expensive, well, we went into the lounge and ordered. I had the pear salad and it was priced at $12 or $14, and there was literally 10 bites of food on that plate. I KNEW I was going to leave hungry, and I am not a big eater. My husband ordered the prawns, and there were 5 on the plate for $16, they came with the head and shell still on them, I would call them shrimp and not prawns. While the food was good, I am never happy when I leave hungry. If they had given us a basket of bread it would have left a completely different impression.

Loved our stay. We would stay here again. Close to shopping and restaurants. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Lovely complimentary breakfast. Loved the snacks offered in the living room. Beautiful grounds and buildings. Not a long drive to downtown Seattle. Friendly staff.

Traveling back from Vacouver, Canada to Hawaii via Seattle - we needed a room for one night that was close to the SEA-TAC airport. We arrived by train - an the complimentary Cedarbrook Lodge shuttle picked us up at the Amtrak platform - later the drove us to the shopping mall for dinner an the next day to the airport - such a valuable service. The grounds and rooms were beautiful and well maintained and it felt like a luxury hideaway. The fitness center and equipment were all in excellent condition. With complimentary snacks available 24/7 and continental breakfast in the morning - it was an exceptional value. Wish we stayed longer. Three thumbs up from our family that included a 16 year old. Definately at the top of my recommendation list.

Recently visited Cedarbrook at the end of our Canadian/Seatle vacation. We booked here for only one night, but wished we had booked additional nights earlier in our trip.
Right near the airport but you would never know it.. A modern - zen like lobby with leather sofas and even a large open deck for dining and having a drink. I don't think anyplace can compare, the rooms were a bit narrow, but the ameniies more than made up for this. Down the hall, snacks, water, and frigs stocked with water and ice cream at no additional charge!
I can't say enough about this venue, what a nice surprise by the Airport!!
