“Great Airport Hotel. Walking Distance to Terminal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2009

We have stayed at this property several times. Has come up for us on a couple of bidding websites at a great rate. We also have booked directly with the hotel's website and using the AAA rate, received a great deal.

The staff have always been friendly and helpful. There is a cute little library style lounge for a nightcap or snack. Prices are very reasonable.

We found the rooms on the front of the property to be a little noisy as they face International Blvd and the airport. The rooms on the back side face a small lake and are much more peaceful. We always ask for a room on the back and have never had a problem getting one.

We stayed once in a One Bedroom Suite. Nice room, but unfortunately right by the elevators and facing International Blvd. We heard the elevator motors groaning and humming all night form the living room and the airport / road noise from the bedroom. The Suites are all by the elevator. I would take a standard room on the back over the suite, even if it was offered at no extra charge.

We have otherwise always had a King Sleep Number Bed room. I Like the layout of the room and also the bed. After a couple of stays, we did what the Sleep Number people want - we bought a Sleep Number Bed for home. They are really a great bed.

This hotel is the first thing you see when you come out of the airport. I guarantee you it is quicker to walk to the terminal than take the shuttle. Problem is, the route all hotel shuttle busses take to the airport is not exactly direct. Even from this hotel, it is about a ten minute ride.

If you want to walk from the airport, come out the doors at baggage claim and immediately turn right. Do not cross the road to ground transportation. You can't walk from there. You will find the hotel at the end of the sidewalk in about 5 minutes.

To walk from the hotel, just cross the street and follow the little concrete path. Easy. Good for you, and saves time too.

The room was on the second floor with a view of the trees showing the Pacific Northwest fall colors. It had a comfortable Sleep number King sized bed. Room had a desk and the free Internet service worked fine. Bathroom had a great shower with tremendous water pressure. I really like it. Room was clean, and good.

Hotel gave free USA Today on the weekday and a Sunday Seattle Times. Location is very near SEA airport but heard no aircraft noise. Noise form other rooms was limited. Overall, a good weekend stay. Price was very inexpensive using AAA discount.

This hotel is right across the street from the airport, but is very quiet. Room was immaculate, bathroom adequate, bed was very comfortable and bedding was white and cozy. Very nice room set up in the king room, with very large work desk. Internet was free but very weak when far from the router. If you need to do a lot of work via internet, ask for a room with good bandwidth.

This is just one of a bunch of airport hotels at SeaTac but it is the most easily accessed by foot. You just exit the terminal at baggage claim level, turn right, and cross the street at the traffic light; takes all of 5 minutes. I really enjoy having a predictable travel time in the morning when I head in to catch a flight.

I get a room on the back side of the hotel. The windows open and there is a mixed view of parking lot, trees, and greenery though you do hear the HVAC gear. Nicer view than the main drag and maybe noise of air traffic on the front side.

Wifi works fine, rooms are quite adequate with a good work area. The buffet is quick for breakfast but terribly unexciting. There is a restaurant right next door if you want better food.

I also tried the light rail from downtown Seattle to the airport (currently you take a shuttle bus the last few miles). This is a pretty nice way to get to the airport. And the shuttle stops on the side of the terminal nearest the Radisson so quite convenient for me.

No reason to be here other than in transit from SeaTac though.

Nice hotel, great for early-morning flights----literally, walk out the front door, across the street, and you're at the airport. No need for a shuttle! Downside is you are in airport-area hell--strip malls, highways, etc. Perfectly acceptable, but you're a good 10+ miles from the "action" of Seattle. On the plus side (and on the non-airport side), and on a clear day, you can twist your head and look to the SE and see Rainier---got some great early-morning pictures by holding my camera out the window! No noise from airport in my room. Don't think my colleague had a noise problem with her airport-side room either.

Stayed here for two nights on our way to Canada in August 2009. Loved the bed and the pool.
The shuttle worked really well and its really close to the airport. So close that we walked to the airport to pick up our rental car the morning after our arrival.
No problems at all to find parking space and the South Center Mall is just minutes away by car.

For most it would only be a "10" minute walk to and from the baggage claim area of SeaTac Airport. The food at the hotel restaurant is better than average. My only negative comment would be... they need to put different hinges on the room doors. This would help with the constant slamming of door, at all hours of the day and night.
