“Best Airport Hotel in SeaTac”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2010

I'm a very frequent visitor to Seattle for business, and my needs require me staying near the airport. I enjoy the fact that with the new light rail station at SEA open, it is easy for me to walk from the terminal to the light rail and across International Blvd on a convenient sky bridge right to the base of the Hilton Hotel. This is all under cover except about a block from the skybridge entrance to the hotel. Sure, some walking is involved, but it beats waiting in the dismal dingy shuttle van corridor for a hotel ride any day - even in the rain!

Staff are always friendly, courteous and helpful. The flavored ice water and apples in the front desk area is also a welcome relief after a long flight.

Hotel is updated and fresh in decor. Rooms are comfortable and above the normal standard for Hilton in terms of bedding, wi-fi speed (at the typical pricing structure) and amenities.

The restaurant on premises is Spencers Steak House. It is a nice restaurant but rather overpriced. However, there are other things available in the general area. There is a breakfast kiosk with Starbucks coffee and lighter breakfast items which is nice for a quick morning departure.

I am normally picked up by work colleagues and the location on International Blvd is also convenient for traffic coming and going in either direction on the busy main drag.

Overall a wonderful hotel with fine service, best airport location and good night sleep!

The staff saved this hotel from a totally bad review. They were very friendly, good service and clean comfortable rooms. However, $20 a night for parking??? $15 a day for internet??? I was here for a conference and other participants stayed at hotel near the Hilton, their parking $10. Also, local conference participants who wanted to leave for lunch had to pay $12.95 to leave at lunch and then again when they left for the day!!!! What a rip off!!! So many hotels have free internet now, what's the deal with continuing to charge. Would not stay here again for conference or to catch a flight.

We stayed here before and after our Alaska cruise last summer. At first we were disappointed that our travel agent had placed us in a hotel so far away from downtown, but the place soon won us over.

The in-house restaurant, Spencer's, served us our very first meal in Seattle, and it was a lovely introduction to the area's cuisine. Excellent seafood and steaks.

The staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. From the front desk to the bartender (what a hoot they were !) everyone seemed genuinely dedicated to making sure our stay was a nice one. Especially nice was the concierge, who with one phone call made reservations and arranged transportation for the Space Needle and the Sky City restaurant. How nice it was to bypass the long lines and head right for the elevator.

It seemed to us that this hotel must have been two different hotels at one time. Our room after our cruise was much different than the first. Much larger, but somewhat older. Didn't really matter, though. Both rooms were very clean and appointed with those marvelous Crabtree and Evelyn bath products.

I'd recommend this hotel. I'd also recommend trying the 21 Coins (I think that's it) restaurant just down the street. Also know there is a convenience store within easy walking distance.

Thanks to the staff for a very nice stay.

This is a very nice hotel, good rates, and very convenient. It has first rate rooms, friendly staff, nice grounds. Although you can call the shuttle from the airport, it is just as fast to walk to the light rail station (departure level in the parking structure) and take the elevator to the street level, and walk half a block to the hotel entrance (on International Blvd). Consider this hotel for your downtown business as well by using the light rail (just across the street from the Hilton). $2.50 fare and 30 minutes. This will enable you to skip the car, extremely high parking rates in the city, and much higher hotel rates…though you lose the charm of being in the city. You will like this hotel.

The downside of this hotel is high fees for Internet and parking

Once I figured out how to find ground transportation I called the hotel shuttle and was told it runs every 20 minutes. The shuttle arrived promptly but it was filled with people and baggage. It was standing room only for the less than 5 minute drive across the street to the hotel. Check seemed slow at 11 pm with only one agent at the front desk but within 10 minutes I was in my room. The room was comfortable and quiet even though I could see the airport and light rail station across the street. I sleep good and enjoyed a hot shower before heading down to breakfast which was included in my rate. quick and attentive service in the restaurant with standard buffet breakfast at $20 per person. As I ate breakfast I noticed the beautiful landscaped courtyard hidden in the center of the hotel property. I looked like a great retreat if it wasn't raining. I'd stay here again when I needed a place near the airport.

stayed for 1 night and the service totally sucked at front desk, housekeeping, and more.
The only good service was at the restaurant.

Checked in late, requested high floor - got 1st floor
Asked for a bathrobe (which in other hiltons, it's already in the room) took them 2 hours to bring it. And the person who brought it had very bad hygine.

At the gym, there was no water left, 2-3 people called for water - i was there for 1 hour , they still didn't bring it.

The room is mediocre at best - not worth the money

Stayed here for 4 nights. Was upgraded to one level nicer for being a HHonor member. Check in was quick and the room was very comfortable. The breakfast was very expensive though and so was parking. It has very nice conference center so it is a great option for business traveler
