“Great For a Quick Overnight Stay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2014

We landed in Seattle at midnight, called hotel and the shuttle was there for us in just a few minutes. Quick check-in. Room was basic, but very clean and somewhat modernized. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was basic. Checked out and took the shuttle to the Light Rail at 8:30am. We got a great price for the room and were very happy we stayed here!

Nice enough. Linens clean. New tub and sink. FREE shuttle from the airport even last minute at 1am. Comforter and rug were very worn. Room was small and felt dingy, but for such a low price, can't really complain. Especially with complimentary breakfast. Would probably stay again in a pinch, or if I didn't feel like spending money for a nicer place.

Horrible experience, been there on 2014, May 25th, arrived at 3pm at the airport, called the hotel for the shuttle and they told me that it was arriving but arrived 30mn later. The room was not ready the staff told me to wait, after 1/2 h I went to the room and there was someone in it. They gave me another room after 1h telling me to complain to the manager Sat if I had comments. The rooms are dirty even if you don't expect a 4 star hotel for 50$. Staff in not friendly and obviously not managed (both morning and afternoon shift) the receptionists were texting instead of assisting customers waiting for a room. Avoid it, for the same price motel 6 is a better value and based on past experience, much more professional

This is the worst place I've stayed at ever. Checkin starts at 2pm - when I arrived at 4pm I had to wait over an hour for my room to be ready. This is not good enough after a long day travelling! The room itself was in poor condition, old, tired and not fully functional. The entry door had to be pushed hard to close because it sticks. The bed was double instead of the advertised queen. The bathroom featured a broken toilet paper holder, therefor the 1 1/3 toilet rolls provided were on top of the toilet. Cable TV was available, except our TV had permanent closed captioning. The remote did not have buttons to turn this off. The mute button brought up the word 'mute' on the scree, however the sound continued as normal. The volume could be decreased to zero, however the zero setting was still too loud in the evening! Breakfast was available in a small area near checkin. Overall I cannot think of anything positive to say about this place. Other people have already mentioned the car park full of vehicles for their airport parking business. Pick another motel!

Truly an awful experience. Had booked two weekends in a row, but cancelled the second one after my first stay. Building and room were rundown, terribly shady characters all around, overheard a drug deal going on right outside my window, toilet was clogged and toilet seat broken. Big gap in the door around the lock, no alarm clock, wireless internet would go out for 10-15 minutes at a time. Card key wouldn't work at the end of the day. Had to keep going back to office with it, one time getting absolutely soaked in the rain. Very loud and nasty people staying in surrounding rooms, one was screaming and banging on the door, shouting obscenities at 6am on a Sunday. Pounding so loud next door that my bed was vibrating. Overpass being built directly behind the building ensures lots of construction noise. Common areas, elevator and stairs were filthy. Killed two large spiders in my room. Shall I go on? Only reason I gave two stars instead of one is that the bed was comfortable. But of course, the headboard was broken and would slam against the wall if you leaned against your pillow the wrong way. Parking lot was filled with airport parking customers, so good luck finding a spot for your own car.

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else....

This could be a long story, but I'll keep it brief. When I went to pick up my minivan, it took them 20 minutes to retrieve it. It wasn't on their site. I should have inspected the Van before we drove away because based on how close the cars were parked when we arrived, I was concerned. It wasn't until we got home and walked around the front of the vehicle that I noticed the large scratch across the front bumper. I phoned the Skyway inn a number of times and was told that I needed to talk to the manager and he wasn't in. It must be a great job because he is never in! I was told to e-mail him (Pinder) which I did, including pictures of the damage, but I still have not received a reply after several attempts. Maybe tomorrow he'll be in.... I doubt it. When you look at the pictures of their motel and parking everything thing appears to be orderly and professional - all is not as it seems.
