“Fair Warning-Hotel Of Last Resort”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2013 via mobile

Be afrai, very affraid of this motel!

In 40+ years of travel I have just now discovered the worst hotel in my entire life! And I have stayed at many hotels around the world and this one is at the very bottom.

This place sits next to a busy main road and the traffic noise might keep you up all night. If that is not bad enough, the flooring on the exterior corridors (should be viewed as a security concern) are square stone tile so the CLICKITY CLACK of luggage wheels might drive you to drink.

The room did have a nice new granite vanity; but, copious quantities of black mold surround the shower/tub.

The pillows on the bed are small and the cheapest quality to be had. Walmart offers better pillows.

The quality of the TV's, their age, programming and the WiFi Internet service are all very bad, as well.

And if your lucky, you will have electricity and your a/c will operate. You cannot possible stay here and leave your window open because of load noises and security concerns!

Fair warning...now you know the truth about this flop house.

We spent 2 nights there. The room was good and clean. The free breakfast included muffins, 2 sorts of cornflakes, bread, spread, pancakes, coffee, orange & apple juice, milk. There is free parking and a free shuttle service which takes you to the airport or picks you up from the airport. You just have to tell the receptionist that you need a shuttle and when you need it. The staff was friendly. Only the shuttle driver was not very communicative or helpful when we asked him for a direction or information. If you want to go downtown, just take the free shuttle to the airport, and from there the Central Link light rail (Sound Transit).

We were dubious cos of a couple of bad reviews but seriously...people are just too picky. We were staying in downtown Seattle for a couple of days but our flight got in at 11pm so we stayed here one night just to get our heads down. FREE airport shuttle = AMAZING. Lovely guy on the desk. Clean, comfortable, spacious rooms! Awesome breakfast the next morning. I really have no complaints. It it what it is and how it is advertised. No glitz or glammar but who cares! Does the job and does it well :D

I booked the room and called them when i arrived it took one hour and half to get picked up, indian gal with big boobs on front desk was highlight of hotel, it is located right accross the street from Kenworth dealership where Green River Killer worked and murdered all those gals
Drug deals going down in the front yard as soon as the sun goes down and looked like it is used by prositutes every nite for cheap rooms. I had friends come pick me up and did Not spend the nite at this dive. Cost me $75 to find out how bad it was here . Unless you are crazy or brain dead this is not where you want to stay in Seattle! Stay ANYWHERE except here!

Our expectations were minimal at best. We chose the Skyway Inn as a convenient place to catch some sleep between flights. It is by far the most dingy, dirty, scary place i have ever stayed. and i travel alot! Nonetheless, we had only about 4 hours to catch some sleep so it mattered very little to me that the place was a dump. By the time we got home we had bed bug bites all over us. I'm sure they are bed bugs because, sadly, we have had this experience before. it is traumatizing.

We have never had any instance of bed bugs at this property. We serve hundreds of satisfied guests at this hotel without any complaints of bed bugs. We take these types of concerns very seriously and would not rent any room with any sort of indication of pests.

We stayed here as a very quick stopover after landing late in Seattle. Literally arrived at the hotel at 10pm and we were gone by 9.30 the next morning.
From the brief time that we spent in the hotel we found the room to be clean and comfortable and easily accommodated my wife and I and three children.
The breakfast was of average quality but gave us a great start to our day for a drive to Spokane, WA.
All in all the Skyway Inn is difficult to fault.
