“Old and outdated”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

We booked this hotel because in general Comfort Inn isn't bad. This one was a big mistake. We arrived at midnight after late flight. There was no parking whatsoever. We had to park on the side in the area for service vehicles. In the hotel there was a strong smell of old carpets. The worst part was the blankets. They were so old and disgusting, I couldn't sleep well. They also had nasty old smell. This is the first comfort inn with such gross blankets. Everything was basic (which is ok for this type of hotel), but quite run down. The towels were so old, there were holes in some of them. The water flow was very low, and the faucets barely worked. They also looked like hundred years old along with the sink. Everything is old and outdated, including lamps and a boxy TV set.
I am sorry but this Comfort Inn has nothing to do with comfort. On the bright side, the breakfast was fine, with waffles, omelet, fresh fruits and other things. The best part was the young man at the front desk who was very friendly and helped us with parking when we were about to give up.

Hotel was okay it really needs to be upgraded but the staff is excellent. Josh the night audit was very professional as well as he always had a smile on his face and the breakfast attendant Jackie was very kind in grabbing me a few items to eat before i head out on the shuttle at 5 am before breakfast even started. the hotel may be outdated but they have a wonderful staff

This is a budget type hotel. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable. Don't expect fancy. The staff here truly makes a difference. They make you feel welcome which I appreciate as a diamond choice member. This property is following all protocol for choice hotels. I stay all over with different choice brands and this hotel is one of my favorites. Some of the rooms have sofas. Book a larger room or suite in the back wing. Josh, Angie, Valerie, Amy, and Donovan truly do a nice job. Thank you!!!!!

Room Tip: Book the larger rooms or suites in the back wing for more space

We chose this location because it was a good location and inexpensive. This is an average hotel. It is a little further out but it was a quick trip in to the airport and the cruise ship ports. The price is decent and you get what you pay for. We liked the continental breakfast, there was something for everyone. It was open good hours, had lots of seating and included the typical cereal, eggs, bagels, muffins, juice, coffee. We found the quality of fruit so-so.

The rooms were basic and clean, and generally spacious enough. The room decor is older and showing signs of wear. The bed was comfortable. The toilet made sounds as did the AC. There was no fridge in the rooms, but later learned you can ask for one to be brought in.

The service was better than average. Front desk staffed were helpful, professional. The Lobby and dining area were modern and comfortable. Shuttle to airport. Cheesecake Factory and other restaurants, and shopping not too far away at a large mall. If you are looking for a basic hotel at a decent price for Seattle area.

We stayed here the other night because it had a shuttle to the airport for our 6am flight. I paid about $100. to stay here in a 2 room suite with 2 double beds. I reserved it online just a few days before. Now I have stayed in plenty of Comfort Inn & Suites before but none as deplorable as this one is. If the company that owns the logo name for 'Comfort Inn & Suites' saw this place ther would yank the letters right off the sign. The hallway smelled of urine... the room was not only out dated by several decades.. the furniture was badly stained and broken. The carpet was so nasty I didnt even want to take my shoes off. The televisions were old and small tube televisions and the a/c didnt work properly at all. The owners need to have some pride in their establishment or sell it to someone else who can do what needs to be done. Hind sight I wished I would have paid $180. and stayed at the Doubletree instead. The only reason I gave it a 1 star was because the linens seemed clean and there was coffee at 4:am (as well there should be) and the people working there were nice enough. Personally I'm not like the other reviewer and think $100. is inexpensive. If I had paid only $50.-$60. for the room then yeah this is what I would expect...not from a 'Comfort Inn & Suites' mind you but a lower quality hotel chain. And look people... when you book other people with little kids.. for goodness sake dont put those stompy little feet on the upper floor. Use some common sense.. Dang! I'm just saying.. hey owners.. find some pride in your business and make the changes. You shouldnt ask people to pay $100. for a room and have that much stuff be that stained and damaged and smelly. Most certainly wont be back.

Room Tip: My only tip would be to find a better quality place to stay!

Clean and comfortable, this quiet hotel is located near the airport with friendly staff. They recommended we use their shuttle daily to return to the airport and access Sound-Link (light rail) system. This low cost transportation between SeaTac Airport and downtown Seattle eliminated the need to drive a car in a city I was completely unfamiliar. This allowed us to walk, catch tours, and/or local transportation and permitted us to sit back and enjoy our vacation.
