We were in town for the Hanford Reactor B tour. I can think of nothing amiss. The phone reservation was effortless, the clerk attentive and polite. The grounds on the river were well groomed. The public areas convenient and clean. Check in quick, informative, and cheerful. We received a top floor river room per our request. We were a few minutes early and the clerk switched rooms to accommodate us. He printed out directions to the tour assembly point. Our room was commodious, spotless, well-appointed, comfortable. A balcony with two chairs and a table looked out over the broad river. The room heater/air conditioner was louder than we liked. We elected to open the window. A full hot breakfast was included, fruit, cereal, yogurt, eggs, meats, breads, beverages. Plenty of space, the tables well apart. About $140 total for one night, two people. We considered it value for money.
A path between the hotel and the river led to Anthony’s restaurant a mile plus distant. The clerk gave us a complimentary appetizer chit when we asked directions. An excellent meal with a digestive return stroll.
