“Reactor Pizza in a Nuclear Town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2014

A group of us went to the local micro-brewery for pizza and beer after work. We had several pizzas. My favorite was the "Reactor" pizza which was very, very spicy. It was loaded with various peppers with a few pieces of pineapple to cut the heat. It was very good fire roasted pizza, not for the faint of heart. We topped this pizza off with the"Plutonium Pilsner".
This place is a hit with both locals and visitors to the area.

“Tasty but overpriced”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2014

Pizza is wonderful with a lively atmosphere. Spicy sausages and excellent beer. All good, but a little spendy for what you get.

“Best informal place to eat in town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2014

Food is great, staff are friendly, ambiance is excellent. Great place to spend an evening. There aren't many "local" places to choose from in this area, but this is a great one. We go there often and always take our out-of-town guests there.

“Pizza was better”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2013

Went back to Atomic Ale for the beer... Had the Snake Bite and it was awesome. Their pretzel with nuclear butter is also awesome. I gave their pizza one more shot and it was better with some extra toppings. I think the piece thats throwing me is the crust... just kind of blah.

“Still Poor Service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2013

Once again my hubby dragged me to Atomic Ale because he likes the beer. I did not want to go but acquiesced. It was half full of people when we arrived. There was only one waitress for the entire restaurant and she was busy. GET THIS MANAGEMENT. The waitress ignored us for the first 10 minutes, clearing tables and filling other tables water. We tried to get her attention, even by waving our arms, but to no avail. When, after 10 minutes we still had not been acknowledged and waited on another table that just sat down, my husband finally had to yell across the room for her to wait on us. Not a great thing for him to do but the no/slow service happens every time we visit and we were frustrated. I ordered the potato soup because the pizza is poor quality, the soup was great. The restaurant had filled by that time and since there was only one waitress we could not get any other service out of her. Paid our bill at the bar and left. We will not be going back. There are other places with good beer and way better pizza and service.
