“Refreshing and delightful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2012

This B & B is a must do. Right outside of Seattle, with the air scented by lavender and pine in a gorgeous wooded setting. Charming decor, comfortable bed, quiet, peaceful, perfect. Morning breakfast was yummy and plentiful, plus the hosts had snacks, ice cream, and warm drinks available day and night. Really appreciated the excellent advice on area attractions provided by the friendly and helpful hosts.

Room Tip: Loved the room with the hot tub.

Hosts are wonderful. Breakfasts were great and loved the wine tasting. Room over the garage was very nice, quiet, private. However, some friends stayed in the main house and indicated they could hear people talking, brushing teeth in adjoining room. If you need anything, just ask. The hosts seemed more than happy to help. No pool, not really for kids.

I have to thank the "biggest employer in Redmond" for booking up all hotel rooms in the greater Redmond area... thanks to you, I found the Meritage Meadows Inn. Gone are the obligatory ear plugs and iffy sleeping conditions, bad coffee and cramped quarters! Bob and Karen's B&B is my oasis from home. Driving an extra five minutes to their place put me in the forest, away from traffic and cocooned in the warmth of an exceptional home with everything you want, including wine tasting on site, the best homemade oatmeal cookies, and a dreamy breakfast that could make you late for work... Oh, and I have to mention my new bff, the family cat, Topo, who was my personal guide and companion.

For those who just want to be quiet and alone, no problem -- there is no obligation to chat, sit or use any of the many common areas: tv room, reading room, gym, huge meadow or forest surrounding the inn. There is a K-cup coffee maker on the guest floor, tons of books and games... and fast internet. But for those who enjoy enlightened conversation, your hosts are lively and worldly wise, interested in the exchange of ideas and opinions. And I daresay that most of the other guests are the same; the Meritage Meadows Inn is a magnet for neat people.

See all the other reviews for more detailed descriptions as I am just adding the cherry on top of the reviews from all who have gone before me. After a long day of work, this is the right way to treat yourself. Thanks Karen and Bob... and Topo!!

Room Tip: I had the Puget room up front with a view on the front forest. Left my windows open and delighted i...

An idyllic getaway with all the ammenities you could ever want. Beds are comfortable and the host and hostess extremely accomodating and a great source of information for the area. A large garden supplies many of the fruits, veggies and berries used in the kitchen and rooms are supplied with bath robes, heated towel racks and air conditioning. If in the area again we wouldn't hesitate to stay or recommend it to any of our friends. Beyond our expectations!!

We were more than pleasantly surprised when we pulled onto the grounds of Meritage Meadows! The long driveway through old growth trees, past the grape vines and ponds were just the beginning of a wonderfully relaxing time! Our hosts were so gracious and accommodating. Upon arrival we were greeted with warm homemade cookies and a tasting of the wines from their onsite wine operation. We were able to choose a quaint local restaurant nearby from the links on their website (not every BnB has such an extensive website!). When staying at BnB's, one comes to appreciate the wonderful experience that is breakfast and this was no exception. Bob's take on an old favorite was fabulous! And his scones are to die for!! The only thing lacking from our time at Meritage Meadows was another night!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Yakima room. Bathroom included a jetted tub, shower stall AND a towel warmer! The v...

My wife and I recently stayed for a night with the folks at the Meritage Meadows for the last night of our Honeymoon and we absolutely love it. The hosts were gracious and helpful and the property was beautiful and peaceful. My wife has some food allergies and our hosts were able to make a delicious breakfast without wheat for her. It's the little things that made all of the difference for us! Thanks for a great stay!

Thanks for sharing your honeymoon with us! We are always happy to adjust our breakfasts to fit dietary preferences or restrictions. Glad you enjoyed the gluten free scones and breakfast I made.

I always use the Meritage Meadows for my friends to stay there and now people start to visit me more often as they miss the outstanding and surprising breakfast and the family style service of the Meritage Meadows!

The Bed and Breakfast is situated in a wonderful location by still being close to the city center of Redmond. The romantic style is visible in the furniture and the design of the rooms as well as in the wonderfully landscaped environement. You can find everything that you would find in a big hotel as well, gym, TV, wireless, modern bathrooms with all you can think of, but you are still in a small bed and breakfast with very customer oriented service and quiet atmosphere. I highly recommend trying it out! It is worth a stay or two.....
