June 2013... As you drive through the trees and over the perfect gurgling creek, you can't believe your eyes... as the other reviewers mentioned, botanical-gardenlike grounds, a waterfall, a lily pond, a grove of fruit-bearing trees, and then your very own woods to explore, complete with gnomes and other whimsical features! And tucked into occasional little nooks are benches or chairs to relax and take in the beauty. Rows of magnificent tall trees and countless flowering shrubs of every color! We stayed in the Blue Heron room, with a beautiful view of the back garden. The bed was beyond comfortable, everything was neat, clean and had everything we needed, and a spacious updated bathroom. And yes, the breakfast feasts: generous portions and including every food group you could desire! Thank you Jeanette and Steve, for your warm hospitality, thank you for the extra kind touches, and for sharing this piece of paradise with us! (And a quick thank you to their niece Jen, who welcomed us and cooked for us part of the time we were there)
