“A stay like you are at home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2012

We have choose this B&B on our Roundtrip from Olympic National Park to Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Hellen. Michel and Kevin who run the Hampton Creek Inn are more than friendly. They try to make your stay like you are at home with service! The rooms are lovely decorated and clean. The Breakfast is home made and verry delicious. They offer a wide range so that everyone could find his Breakfast favorit! It could not be better. I could really recommand this B&B.

This was a great find for us as, like others on here we wanted somewhere between Rainier and Mt. St. Helens. The couple who run it are very accomodating and genuine and the house is quaint country style without being 'twee'. Breakfasts are what we will remember most though..wholesome, home made organic food for all tastes. It was a truly individual place and we loved it, we're British and loved it's quirkiness. If you like chain motels and soul-less expensive hotels you won't.

....when you are the only B&B in town. These guys really care and work hard to make it comfortable for their guests BUT compared to other B&Bs in that price category we had to find out later that this by far too expensive for the performance.
Nevertheless it was clean, breakfast was good, it was quiet and WIFI worked. Looking at it with a few days distance we find that it is too expensive for what you get in the end.
They were friendly and everything but all could have happened by far cheaper and would still have been satisfactory. But if you want to stay righbt in between Mount St. Helens and Mount Rainier it is the only reasonable option you have - and that makes it again a perfect location.....

While visiting Rainier and Mt. St. Helens, we had planned to stay 2 nights here and 2 nights in Ashford. If I had it to do again we'd have just stayed here for 4 nights. As it was we did come back for a 3rd night after we found that the accommodations we'd reserved in Ashford were unacceptable.

In contrast everything was wonderful at the Hampton Inn. I liked the unique way they do breakfast, you get a sheet with many options and choose just want you want the night before.

The location is especially convenient if you want to visit both Mt. St. Helens or Rainier.

A great place to stop for a morning lauch on Rainier or Mt. St. Helens. A delightful B&B, run by a dedicated and accomodating young couple. The well-maintained house is set up perfectly for a B&B, with a common area complete with refrigerator and microwave alongside the guest rooms upstairs. The front of the house serves as a coffee shop, also housing the breakfast dining room. The entire vib is tranquillity. You'll enjoy your stay. Lattes and cookies were an over-the-top bonus.

In a tiny town where most everyone was saying there is no decent place to stay, the manager of the local restaurant finally pointed us in the direction of Hampton Creek Inn, a two minute drive from the centre of town. Delightful, charming, restful, quiet and welcoming are the best words to describe what Calvin and Michelle have done with this great property. We loved our room with private bath, a claw-foot bathtub, thick bath robes, electric fireplace and, just before tucking in, freshly baked vegan brownies from Michelle. Breakfast was hearty and catered to our fussy vegan preferences. Highly recommend it.

Room Tip: All rooms are fine.
