We (parents) rec'd coupons for this place at our son's WSU orientation and still had them on move in day. What a surprise! it's a nondescript entry, kind of hard to find, but my husband went in while I parked the car and came out with 2 thumbs up. Newspapers from the original 60's coffeehouse decoupage the walls - but we sat outside (nothing fancy outside but pleasant enough on a beautiful day. I grew up in Chicago where gyros rule; Zoe's was delicious! the meat was savory and the veggies fresh, Burger and fries my husband had was perfect too, 100% Angus, not the bad stuff. A nice selection of microbrews (delivered to us outside by the polite and friendly staff) topped off the experience. Recommend this little treasure - it was a surprise highlight of our trip and we feel good that our son's dorm is nearby. When he visits he can check out the walls and see the LIFE covers detailing "The Young Communes" and SF Bay music posters.
