Stayed here since my husband has friends that live in the area we were visiting. The hotel was located near a shopping center with a grocery store, drug store and other little shops which was nice as we needed to pick up a bottle of wine for our friends and some supplies for our week of adventure (our first night was here)

The room was average, bathroom needs to be updated, check in was easy and the continental breakfast was above average. Included omelets, hot cinammon buns, sausage, assorted breads/bagels/muffins, cereal, fruit etc.

Staff was friendly and acommodating, would recommend. They have a pool, would be a great place for families

I can't say a lot about the hotel, because we didn't stay there -- but got charged anyway. My wife and I, in town for a wedding, arrived early on our reservation day. A desk person showed us a room. We had a reservation here, but found another hotel closer to the wedding. We asked if we could cancel the reservation and stay at the other hotel. The person at the desk said fine, no problem. He was friendly enough. We switched hotels and forgot about it until going through records for taxes and found that we were charged for the room, anyway. Both of us spoke to the general manager, Micha Kim, about the problem by phone.
After querying us about the details, he essentially suggested we were liars. We were charged for being "no-shows." He told us a woman was working at the front desk that day (not true), and said they had a strict policy on cancellations, and that no one at the front desk would have told us otherwise. So, he stole our $139. And it's too late now to dispute the charge.
Caveat emptor. Never been ripped off like this before, or had this sort of attitude from hotel management after the fact. Steer well clear of this place, and take the other warnings herein about management to heart. Lots of better choices around. The hotel we chose instead, the Clearwater Casino Resort hotel, run by the Suquamish tribe, was beautiful, price-competitive, and right on the waterfront. Nice staff, too. Hope our experience moves more business in their direction.

Management is great!!! Staffs are very friendly.
Rooms are very clean..Great job on costumers service. I will absolutely recommend this place to my friends and families for sure...I will use this hotel for now on everytime i visit this place. I really enjoyed stayin to this place.

I've been to this particular hotel twice within a year and their service keeps getting better and better! Even thou the hotel is an older property, they do a great job of upkeeping with the high standards of Holiday Inns. Rooms are clean, near by everything, but most of all, the whole staff is so genuine and friendly! I will continue to go back there when me or my collegues are in Poulsbo....
