While staying at the Old Consulate Inn in Port Townsend we had the Inn Keepers make us reservations for a special night. The view from any where water front is beautiful in Port Townsend but if you have a window table and know your meal is going to be superb, all the better.
The wait staff were attentive and knowledgeable. My husband and I both ordered the special catch of the day Halibut. Stuffed with artichoke, Dungeness crab, in a lemon and butter sauce. A yummy Parmesan cheese crust. Swedish potatoes with sour cream, bacon, and Romano cheese came as a side dish with fresh asparagus. This was cooked to perfection. Totally delicious.
We rarely order dessert but special occasions call for the extraordinary. We shared a 'Banana Belt' and loved it. Caramelized bananas, ice cream, whipped cream, and crumbled Heath candy bar. Perfection.
This was a memorable meal. Would definitely dine here again.l
