“Great hotel, nice staff, close to everything”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2014

This was our second stay and we had a wonderful time as always. The rooms are clean and cozy..the hotel is an easy walk to water street and to shopping/restaurants. One of the best things we love about staying here is the complimentary use of the Port Townsend athletic club during your stay. The staff is friendly and accomodating as we had a late check in. The only drawback is very thin walls so you hope for respectful neighbors, however this is to be expected based on the hotel structure. Would certainly recommend and will stay here again...

I stayed one night at The Swan in Port Townsend, Washington and I'm looking forward to the next stay there. Check-in was a quick and simple process that started with a friendly greeting. The room was very clean, well maintained, and the bed was comfortable. The location could not be better for those visiting Port Townsend. The day that I was there was unseasonably cold, but they had made sure that the room was heated to a very comfortable level before my arrival. The person on desk duty in the morning was also very pleasant. I can definitely recommend The Swan.

We recently stated at the Swan Hotel in Port Townsend and were very pleased with the Location at the end of town where you can look out to admiralty inlet. the rooms are very clean the staff very friendly and the property is nicely taken care of. it's location is ideal for walking tours of the town and restaurants and shops are close buy. There is much you can do on foot from this hotel. You also have the option to stay in very quaint and comfortable cottages. This is a nice place to stay if you are on a car tour of the area. Will definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: East side rooms look out to the marina and water. Cottages are cozy with gas fire places. West side...

The hotel has an excellent location, close to all of the activities in town. The hotel is directly across the street from the Maritime Center one of the major attractions in PT. The hotel consist of rooms in the main building and several very comfortable and well kept cottages. I had the privilege of staying in a cottage and felt right at home. Very comfortable, nicely decorated in a New England term and gas fireplace to boot! Great place to stay in a very interesting place on Washington's Olympic Peninsula.

Room Tip: The Swan doesn't have a restaurant on grounds but there are at least 10 within strolling distanc...

We book the Wheelhouse suite and 2nd floor of the Swan every New Years for a gathering of friends. The staff are amazingly friendly and the Swan meets our needs perfectly as we like to gather in the Wheelhouse for meals and games, but want to have our separate rooms for down time and sleeping. Port Townsend is charming...great shopping and restaurants. The Wheelhouse Suite has an awesome view and we love watching the fireworks from the "Widow's Walk". Thanks to the Swan staff for another wonderful stay!

Room Tip: Wheelhouse Suite is the top floor. It has 2 bedrooms (1 K, 1 Q) and is perfect for 2 couples or a f...

I stayed at the Swan Hotel during Thanksgiving week. Great location right across the street from a lovely coffee spot (Velocity), free use of the athletic club across the street (Port Townsend Athletic Club), located at one end of the main drag (Water Street) with lots of galleries, other shops, and restaurants. A couple of weeks before my arrival date, Swan sent me a list of restaurants that would be open on Thanksgiving, and then followed a week later with a list of all the local activities scheduled during my stay. Small frig and microwave in my room, and huge bathroom. Would certainly stay again.

Room Tip: Four freestanding cottages are also available with jetted tub and fireplace (more expensive than roo...
