No TV, phones ( but excellent WiFi connection if desired or needed), wonderful 3 course breakfasts, innkeepers who are helpful, but also respect your privacy, super clean rooms, comfy beds, lavender toiletries, truffles at bedtime, coffee, tea in the library 24/7, freshly baked cookies, wonderful terrace and landscaped grounds with seating (incl.'porch swings) in shady spots, views of the harbor, a billiard room, short walk to town.
The only fly in the ointment was that we hit an unusually hot weather spell.
A portable fan kept our room reasonably comfortable at night.
We are senior citizens and managed the stairs to the 3rd floor OK. But will probably try a room on the 2nd floor next time.
Had no problem with the nearby bell ringing every hour. Maybe because the fan was a good white noise, or that our room was on the harbor view side?
We compare this inn to Abigail's in Victoria, one of our favorites.
