“Very Good Breakfast, Local Hangout”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

My sister and I had a very enjoyable breakfast at the Lighthouse Cafe. It's on the main drag, Water Street, right in front of Better LIving Through Coffee, and I liked the variety of the food much more here. We had a full breakfast with eggs and bacon at a very reasonable price. The coffee was freshly-brewed, and our server (and cook!) filled up our travel mugs without an additional charge Locals frequent the Lighthouse, which is always a good sign. The place had a feeling of being here for years, and will continue while other "trendy" breakfast places will close. If we had had another day in Port Townsend, I would have returned.

“Needs some finesse”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2013

My sister in law and I were searching for breakfast on a Sunday morning. This place was open.
The cook was our waiter! She ordered gravy over potatoes with eggs and I ordered a denver omlette. The food had good flavors, expecially that sausage gravy. The portions were fine.
Our servers became a woman and a younger woman. Maybe, the spouse and child??
The decor could use sprucing. The help could be less hap hazard.
The food was decent. Prices around $10.
The place has potential. It needs some finesse.

“Ok”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2012

Ok just food and pretty plain. Pricey for what you get which was not much. Got about 6 fries with small burger.

“Lunch at a Reasonable Price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2012

We stopped here for lunch, looking for a reasonably priced lunch that was not fast food. There were five of us; two had the friend chicken dinner and three had burgers. All very good food, a clean establishment, friendly staff. A nice place to eat lunch

“There are better places for Breakfast”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2012

We thought we’d give it a try as we like to support the smaller places. The food wasn’t terrible but it was subpar at best.

The service was very poor, (I wish there was a class for wait staff).

We mentioned to a local where we went and they said “oh there are better places, not so good huh” That pretty sums it up
