“Low Quality”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2013

I had ordered a king room with jet tub. We did show up after 6 PM so we probably got the last room, it was under the stairs, ground level. Partial view of the sound, which wasn't bad. The tub tiles had mold in every nook and cranny. We changed rooms to an upstairs. View was spectacular, room was gross. I could feel the dirt, when I got in the tub, you could see the dirt come off from my bare feet. The staff was nice, she was very accommodating. We stayed the one night and moved to another hotel for rest of the week.

This place has so much potential to be spectacular. The view and private beach is wonderful. The cleaning staff needs a lesson on true cleaning and not to use heavy deodorants to cover up cigarette smells. It almost had the Reno hotel smell.

Althouhh I agree with other reviewers about location, views, etc. I can NOT give rhis place any better than 3 stars..there is no elevator!! Three floors- the lobby is actually on the second floor which from the front is street level. Having stayed here before.. Prior to becomig mobility impaired.. I knew to ask for a room on the second floor .. If you are mobility challenged and rooms are full on that floor.. They put you on the first floor.. Then you have to srive around back( access to these rooms is ok)!!!!! But for breakfast you have to drive to the front lot to access the lobby..!!!! The owners need to put in an elevator!!!!!'by far they are BARELY ADA compliant

This hotel was clean and plenty comfortable for our 4 night stay. About a 5 minute walk from the foot ferry that takes you to Bremerton. You can either get on the big ferry and go to Seattle or go do the activies in Bremerton. There is a nice, newer playground a few minutes walk (between the hotel and the foot ferry). There was also a farmer's market with excellent fruit on Saturday, just a short walk from the hotel.
All rooms have a water view. We woke one morning to a submarine leaving the naval base and heading out. The breakfast was more than just cereal and pastries- they also had hard boiled eggs, yogurt, waffles, eggs and sausage. Not the best breakfast we've ever had but it was certainly good enough.
Beds were comfortable and lots of (smaller sized) pillows on the beds. Friendly front desk staff! There was also a computer/printer for customer use so we were able to print our plane boarding passes prior to going to the airport. We will stay again!

This motel is situated right on Puget Sound. All rooms face the Sound with an excellent view. Port Orchard is a nice little community if you want to get away from the hussle and bussle of the city. Very laid back. You're a 5 minute walk from the center of town with access to a foot ferry to take you to Bremerton for some excellent restaurants. Most within walking distance of the ferry. If you desire peace and quiet, with an attentive and friendly staff, this is the place to go.

This inn is on the sound with a great view of the naval shipyard. The little town is 1/2 mile away and has fantastic antiquing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a super ice cream pallor 3 blocks east of the inn. The breakfast was a tasty continental with waffles.

You don't have a lot of choices in Port Orchard, but the Comfort Inn isn't a bad one. The rooms are decent sized and decently furnished. Beds are extra firm, and I can't imagine where they got those pillows: they're about half the size of normal twin pillows. The bathrooms are clean, and in good condition, but a bit tight on space. One wing of the hotel has a view of the water, the other wing not so much. HVAC is typical motel wall-mount, and rather noisy. But we didn't hear the people in the next room at all.

The staff is friendly and helpful. But the clerk at the front desk overhyped the breakfast--this isn't the buffet at Bellagio, it's some scrambled eggs that are dry and rubbery after they've been out a while, some breakfast meat, breads and pastries, cereal, juice, and coffee.

The lobby is bright and comfortable.

It's not the Ritz Carlton, but if you have to go to Port Orchard, it's a comfortable place to stay.

A good location. Good view across the inlet. Quiet. Still, average for CI motels. Easy parking. It is a former Holiday Inn Express. Can't easily walk to downtown. Staff is pleasant. It's worth the money at least with typical discounts but call first and ask for their best rate.
