“Wonderful stay...a little personal "warmth" needed.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2011

My guy and I stayed at The Port Ludlow Resort this weekend. The room was great....very clean, fantastic view of the marina, warm fireplace, great big tub overlooking the water, never heard the slightest sound all night. Romantic setting, quiet and relaxing. Our room seemed a bit nicer than the pics on this site. The only negative feedback I can think of was the desk staff didn't seem overly thrilled to answer questions or be present at the desk (they were in the office). I'd also add that the restaurant at the Inn is pricey for what you get and has a limited (but gourmet) menu. Again, the staff didn't seem thrilled to wait on us for breakfast. Overall, we did have a fabulous experience, mostly due to the beautiful room and view. Towles as big as sheets...the added touches that really make a difference. A friendly and welcoming attitude is all I can think of to make this place a definite 5 "dots." We will try for the 5 next time...do plan to go back.

Room Tip: Get a corner room for added windows/views. A good book and a great bottle of wine are all you need t...

beautiful location, brunch at the restuarant was good although pricey with no mimosa's, or coffee included with your meal.

Room Tip: we were on the seond floor room 212 i think and it had a great view.

From the minute we checked in we were treated like family. The rooms were beautifully appointed with a fireplace (took the chill off in the mornings), jacuzzi tub, fridge and a very comfortable bed.

The view over the marina was lovely. We had 2 fantastic rounds of golf and enjoyed 2 hours of kayaking - watching the seals, Herons & Cormorands.

We will definitely be back again and hopefully for a longer stay.

Room Tip: Get one with a balcony overlooking the marina. Ours did not have one as we were a corner unit.

This is a very pleasant place to stay. The jacuzzi, complete with bathrobes was delightful. The in-room gas fireplace was most welcome. We could lay in bed and watch the twinkling firelight. Room was large, clean, and decorated very tastefully. I would highly recommend. My only regret is that we could not stay longer. Next time... It is probably worth the extra $ to spring for a view room.

The hotel is located in a nice cove. The check in staff was nice and courteous. The views seemed better online than at the resort. The rooms were partially remodeled with a gas fireplace and whirlpool tub. However the industrial grade carpet had many stains, the bed was very hard and uncomfortable and the pillows seemed to be at the end of their lifespan. Breakfast at the restaurant was so so.

Good overall stay. Room was VERY clean. Jacuzzi tub was very relaxing and plenty big. Very friendly staff. Even had a bottle of bubbly in our room in celebration of our anniversary! Some other comments towards the negative- the room TV was small and had only a VHS player. WAY out of date for price of room. Also, be aware of non-marina side rooms- there is a venting system over there that makes a pretty constant buzzing noise that gets old rather quickly. With condos and parking on non-marina side, people and car traffic 9-5 is pretty constant, and unloading and loading for restaurant took place under the rooms too. OPT FOR MARINA SIDE.

Room Tip: request marina side rooms
