“Lovely Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2011

What a great location for a getaway. The hotel property sits on the water and overlooks a wonderful bay with very nice southwest views. Well maintained grounds, fresh clean hotel and welcoming staff make this a great place to arrive after a day of touring the magnificent area. We arrived by motorcycle and were treated with great care. Special attention was afford to us on parking our bike close to the door which is undercover. A small thing but the interest and care was very nice. Hotel food is not usually our thing but in this case we found it to be excellent. First rate restaurant staff tend to you as you enjoy a wonderful view and dine on first class food and wines at reasonable prices. Dosen't get much better. Our room had a very nice view, large jacuzzi tub and fire place! Only up grade they really need to do asap is the tv's in the rooms, 27 inch old school zeniths just don't cut it these days. In the end I say go and enjoy it, you won't regret it.

Room Tip: Enjoy the food

No skill. Overpriced. Underseasoned. And the waiter got the order wrong. Seriously. $10 French onion soup should taste like more than flabby butter and creme brûlée should not be curdled. And keep the shell bits out of my oysters. Some of the worst hotel food I have ever had.

Relaxing time in a peaceful setting. We switched rooms after our first night due to continual stomping coming from the room above us (no fault of hotel, just noisy occupants). Staff was appologetic and gracious in allowing our move. Would stay again!

This hotel was all I could have hoped for and more. The room was very clean, spacious, airy and comfortable. The view was fantastic. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. The restuarant was first rate and the service friendly and very efficient. We have already booked a return trip.

This is not a resort. This is fairly nice hotel in an out-of-the-way location with an overpriced restaurant on site. Bedding is worn, tv is small, furniture is scratched up. This isn't a three star hotel, although iy has pretentious. Couldn't figure out why they charge a "resort fee"-- I wouldn't normally pay extra for wifi and the possibility of borrowing VHS (!) tapes.

A fantastic getaway from Seattle tucked on route to Olympic National Park. The Inn can easily transition from a high end offsite spot for business groups to a charming n romantic weekend hideout for a honeymoon couple. The staff incredibly friendly and efficient, the food and beverage excellant, the rooms cozy and luxirious, an all around memorable experience.
Hughly recommended with two thumbs up.

Love the location--right on water with views of the harbor & marina. Saw the Olympic Mountains when the clouds lifted. Fun to have the fireplace, an outside balcony, and soaking tub. Dinner in The Fireside room was excellent--menu & wine list had LOTS of choices -- fresh, local fare. The bedding was the most comfortable ever--soft, silky sheets & fluffy comforter: elegant!
