Great location right by the water, really neat old building. The atmostphere is great, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty, get the salmon!

“Excellent Food and lots of fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

We at recently at the AJax Cafe in Port Hadlock, WA. It is an old favorite and always is a great place to eat. A Limited, but excellent menu with pasta, seeafood (the Halibut is outstanding) and great steaks. It is in old Port Townsend at the waters of Puget Sound. Don a funky old hat, enjoy the live music and have a great meal.

“Always a treat to come here!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

We brought our friends from California to experience Ajax. The fun part is to wear one of their many hats that are displayed on the walls. It's also fun to chage your selection, but make sure everyone in your party wears one. The menu is inside a 33 1/3rd record album cover and none of the china, flatware or glassware matches. The food is always great, especially the seafood pasta and BBQ babyback ribs. There is live music on the weekend. Be sure to make reservations.

“Top notch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

After a round of golf at Port Ludlow Resort, eight of us went to dinner at Ajax. Most of us had different dishes and all of them were wonderful. The clam chowder was so good that my wife and myself returned five days later to try it again. You wont find better clam chowder anywhere period! Prices are reasonable and the atmoshere is great. We will go back to try their monthly wine dinner. Ajax Cafe is definately worth the drive!

“Overrated... Loud... Food not good.. No view”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2012

If you want to go to a loud restaurant, and have a birthday party for children this is the spot. If you'd like a nice dinner with good food and a view of the waterfrtont and sunsets DON'T GO HERE !

The highlight of the meal is wearing silly hats while dining. This is a very popular (and LOUD) place but we won't be returning

BTW the food wasn't that good my wifes "tenderloin" was dry and overcooked her mashed potatoes were to cold to eat and my vegies were cold as well BUT THE PLACE WAS PACKED so i guess it doesn't hurt there biz...
