Our stay here was a VERY nice surprise! We booked the room last minute. The first time we called, they were completely full, but we called back later and a room had opened up. Customer service was very friendly, and they gladly booked our stay with a AAA discount.
Finding the hotel was a breeze! I find the Tri-Cities pretty confusing, but the hotel was on a main road and easy to see from the freeway.
Check-in was fast, but nobody pointed out the elevators to us, so we wandered down hallways for quite a while before housekeeping pointed us in the right direction. When we finally made it to our room, we found that they had upgraded us to a mini-suite because it was "the room that opened up". Talk about a great way to start the weekend! The room was BEAUTIFUL! Much, much nicer than I had expected for only $109! It was spotless, attractive, and very modern and had a beautiful bathroom (though kind of small), mini bar with sink, sofa, and 2 TVs. The bed was SO comfortable...best night's sleep that I've had in months!
The continental breakfast was NOT what you would expect...it was BETTER! Complete with fresh belgian waffles and every breakfast food you could dream of, it was absolutely the best I've seen. The food was hot, fresh, and GOOD. At check-out, they tried to charge us for the suite upgrade, but after I pointed out that we had been quoted for the regular room price, they happily adjusted the rate. Great!
I'd definitely recommend this hotel...wish we could have stayed longer!
