The Dockside Bistro is a gem! The food is incredible with service to match! The roasted beet salad is fantastic and the lamb chops were just outstanding!

“Delicious food, delightful view, and a dedicated owner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2014

We dine at Dockside several times each year, and it never disappoints. Lunch or dinner, the food is always excellent. We love the salmon BLT and fish tacos at lunch; any seafood you order for dinner will be fresh and perfectly cooked - not something you can necessarily say about most restaurants. The view is quite lovely, overlooking the marina. And our favorite aspect of the restaurant? The owner. She is kind, gracious, and committed to the community, sometimes hosting events with the proceeds going toward a person or organization that has suffered a loss - often the type of loss that doesn't make it to the front page of the newspaper, but is "front-page news" to the person or organization that has suffered. So become a regular...you'll not only get consistently good food, sometimes with a pairing of flavors you might not have thought of, but you may also have an opportunity to contribute to a worthy cause in OlyWA.

“Super dinner, nice resteraunt”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2014 via mobile

Outstanding dinner mid-week. Seafood cocktail, elk carpaccio both exquisetly done. The pear Gorgonzola ravioli was yummy. The seared sea scallops were done to perfection. Scallops being about the easiest thing to cook too much/too little; the dinner a testament to the kitchen. Service was timely and friendly. Key lime pie was also very good. Fun view over the docks. The wine list was decent, could have had a more extensive Washington selection, but certainly good choices.

“Food was daring and perfectly executed.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2014

I'll go ahead and say the food was excellent. No complaints at all. The service was good, not exactly fine dinnings idea of perfect, but not bad. She never brought bread (but she mentioned it twice) water service was slow and she wasn't super familiar with some of the ingredients in the dishes, going to the back to ask the chef instead of knowing on her own. In fact she may have been the only server so that could explain it. But the food more than made up for it. Elk carpaccio and scallop/pork belly app were amazing. We ordered three entrees because we just couldn't deside. Lamb, elk and scallop were all perfectly cooked. We ate every bite and regretted nothing. Nice size wine selection, plenty to choose from. Pairings we picked were a great complement.
