I finally got to have breakfast at Cicada, and I've got to say that the new team has really spruced up the place. The interior was stylish and clean, and the old and abused restrooms have been completely updated and were immaculate. I had eggs scrambled with an olive tapenade, flash fried razor clams, home fries, and toast. The clams were cooked perfectly. I would have liked a little something to dip them in -- but that's just a personal preference. The home fries were cooked just right: golden brown and slightly crunchy on the outside, and fluffy and hot on the inside. The eggs were okay, but could have had a little more spice. I found it odd that a woman on the far side of the room was bellowing accross the room in order to have a lengthy conversation with the waitress. I really didn't need to know about her church acitivity, where she clams. etc. All in all, I've eaten at this restaurant quite a few times, I like it, and I will come back.
