After wandering the coast surrounding the Olympic National Park and then heading south along the Pacific, we were astonished at the lack of good restaurants, even restaurants that billed themselves as seafood specialists were selling frozen, mass-produced, bland and starchy crabcakes. So Emily's (in AAA book) was an oasis of really great food and cheerful service. Dinner was perfect, breakfast not so much but still far better than average. Right on the beach. Only downside was the cigarette smoke wafting in from the casino, even though the restaurant itself is no-smoking. Hint there's a coffee shop right outside the restaurant, grab your fix before being seated because the house coffee is bleh.
