My experience at the Ramada Inn was very surprising due to the name which suggests at least a 3 star hotel. I should have paid attention to the rating everyone who has stay here in the last 10years has been unhappy, first the ocean view you pretty much have to be almost falling out to window to see it. The room was very dated, very small, the bed spread looked to be at least 15 to 20 years old very faded, I found the room depressing; I will never stay there again. My six day vacation was wasted on an old room which had out dated furniture from the 1980. The best thing about the Ramada Inn was the staff very friendly great group of people.

Room Tip: Get a room at the very top floor, make sure to tell them you want a new spead with an flat sreen tv...

Front desk staff were great and very accommodating. We had a room with two double beds. Very spacious. On the first floor there is no view of the beach, but this morning I looked out the window of our ground level room and I was surprised to see a doe and her two young babies. Totally awesome. You do hear quite a bit from other rooms. Kids in the room next to us, parents lecturing said kids and people walking around in the room above. The big negative was the long hair strands on the shower wall. Not ours and ick! In room Keurig. Not a fan of Keurig but did find acceptable coffee in the lobby.

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay this past weekend. We only stayed one night (a Saturday night) and wished we'd had time to spend a few more! The check-in process was fast (we had reserved online) and easy. The front desk staff was friendly.

Had we stayed more than one night we may have wanted a room with a view but for a one-night stay, we didn't mind being on the first floor with a view of some grass and trees. I thought it might be a little noisy since our room was directly off of the lobby, but we didn't hear a thing. We may have heard a few doors close a few times, but we didn't hear any loud voices or stomping feet above us. If we'd have stayed an additional night, we may have also asked for a couple of extra chairs- the room had one side chair and one dining room chair at a table.

The room was EXCEPTIONALLY clean. I looked around every nook and cranny- not a speck of dust or dirt to be found- and that's not easy to do when you're at the ocean with all of that sand!
Beds and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was large and the shower had great water pressure. I appreciate that the bathroom had a warming light and fan- so many hotels seem to go without the fans now.

We didn't get a chance to use the pool and hot tub, but the room looked clean and well taken care of. The attached restaurant was also very clean and cute inside. It wasn't very busy around brunch on Sunday, so the service was fast and the food was good.

We'll definitely return- great room at a great price. Also of note, the parking lot is pretty small- seems like too much parking reserved just for the restaurant. Parking was definitely full on a Saturday night.

Room Tip: Rooms off of the lobby were surprisingly quiet. No view.
