Without even staying at the resort, I can give it a terrible rating. My daughter just cancelled her wedding today. We visited Bonneville one year before the wedding date, and were thrilled with the details we had planned. The wedding coordinator was great to work with...but learned just before the holidays, that she no longer works at the resort. So we met with the new catering manager, only to find out that many of the details that had been agreed upon were no longer being honored by the resort. The new person was pleasant enough, but certainly made it obvious that the resort's priority is their spa guests, and that my daughter's wedding would be a secondary priority. What a blessing that we have cancelled. I can only imagine that the service/staff could have potentially made the whole day a nightmare for my daughter and our guests. I wish I had read the reviews on this site before even scheduling the wedding. Now, eight months before the wedding, we are faced with a limited time-frame to fine another venue.

I planned to have my wedding here 4 months ago. yesterday I was ever so "kindly" let down by their new staff member who basically told me that they were no longer going to do weddings there, so i could have my deposit back and now, with a few months left to go before my wedding, try to find another place to have it. Thanks for nothing. I also ate lunch there and the food and the service was terrible. Don't bother with this place. They obviously do not care to have your business!

I will never recommend this place to anyone. They have the worst customer service in the world. We had scheduled a wedding here in August 2006 with a very nice representative of the hotel and were promised all of these wonderful things along with a written contract that stated everything!!! A couple of days ago, we received a call from a woman who said that the previous lady had been fired and that there was a problem with our contract. We went into the hotel and chatted with this woman and she pretty much explained to us that everything in our contract was not valid and there was nothing she could do about it but give us our deposit back, no questions asked. By far, the worst Customer Service I have ever incountered! Without saying the exact words, she said that they did not want to do weddings there at all, etc..... This woman has completely ruined the wedding, an event that is the most important day in people's lives. Now we are left with no place to have a wedding because every outside venue is booked for the entire summer of 2006. This place is terrible and I will never ever go there or recommend this place to anyone!!!!!!!

We returned to the rersort to give it another try. The last time we stayed, we were dissapointed. This time some things were better. Such as the food, and the spa services. However, the front desk staff was as unpleasant, and untrained as one could imagine. We were told by the front desk staff at check in that they just lost two great employees. Boy, does it show.. I asked to speak to the manager, and was told that he was busy and asked that we check with him later.Whaaat... I asked why the employees left, and was told the resort treats their employees badly. That is why people don't stay. What a shame!!!. This could be a nice place, but upper management needs to take a look at what they can do to keep their trained staff. I don't think we will be back again. Two times is two times too many.
