“Awesome view! Great food and service!”

Went for lunch, sat by the window, overlooking the sound and ferry. Very memorable, and enjoyable! Had the fish tacos, the fish and chips.

“Ivar's or Arnie's?”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 7, 2013

Every time we visit Mukilteo, we debate whether to visit Arnie's or Ivar's as both are near the water's edge, (though Ivar's has Arnie's beaten in this dept. due to it's location right on the water). We chose Ivar's this month & are glad we did. We enjoyed lunch midweek in November so it was not crowded & we were able to get a window table without a problem. The service was a little slower than normal but it was friendly & we weren't in a big hurry. Another reviewer correctly noted the confusing parking & we tend to avoid it during busy times and seasons for this reason. Even though the restaurant was quite empty, we had to park down the street. However, it was worth it, our meals were both good and we'll return.

“Just ordinary”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2013

The food was not exceptional...would have thought the quality would be better for the location. My husband has a serious allergy to garlic. Most restuarants will offer an alternative to the potato dish other than a dbl. serving of brocolli, which must have touched something with garlic as his lips started burning after the first bite. Service was so,so.Serving sizes merger for the price. Parking poor, related to a large lot that was empty, but reserved for ferry parking.

“Pretty view, pretty ordinary food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2013

We ate there yesterday after the Boeing tour - was expecting it to be much better seafood for the reputation it has! Also, it's kinda confusing with the ferry traffic right there.... You have to go around the line of cars and cut across to park in front of the restaurant. Pretty interior. Great waiter. My husband's seafood sauté was tasty. My seafood combo (fried) was too heavy on the breading. The clam chowder was tasty and had pretty big pieces of clams. Nice wines available. It's fun to watch the ferries coming, going, loading, unloading if you're from a landlocked area.

“Incredible Dining Experience - Excellent Views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2013

Started off with the Dungeness Crab Cocktail - Incredible and Fresh - Excellent Cocktail Sauce -
For dinner had the Dungeness Crab Crusted Halibut over Butternut Squash and Idaho Mashed Potatoes - Again - Superb Dinner - The Halibut was extremely fresh and the crust was perfect - Very nice sized serving. I ate at the bar and the bartenders and all staff were very friendly and accommodating. Excellent Location with a view of the ferry and water - great atmosphere. Will definitely return for another extremely satisfying dinner delight!!
