“Good Value For The Money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013

An older hotel that is very clean with friendly, hellpful staff. Not as fancy as the newer Best Western Plus in town, but $50 a night cheaper, Got a good night's sleep and had an adequate breakfast. The bisquits and gravy were particularly good, and did'nt require any Tums, which was unusual. Would stay here agian.

This hotel is perfectly clean with pleasant employees, but it is very old and so it has the associated problems that come with age. The heating/cooling system was unsatisfactory and outside noise was a real problem (especially the train whistles during the night). Breakfast is fine - predictable for this time of chain and is exactly the same every morning.

Location is great walk across the parking lot to enjoy some great pub food at the Hideaway Pub. Service is great as well. I found this hotel quiet with great beds and lots of towels in the room. The staff were helpful. Good selection of area information available as well.

We stayed here for one night and it was a nice room that overlooked the pool. We didn't have a balcony and asked if we could change rooms but we wanted 2 beds and there was no room available. Nice clean rooms and comfortable beds. We sat out by the pool and enjoyed the sunset. They supplied breakfast in the lobby and it was ok but nothing special. The only hot item they seemed to have was gravy for the biscuits which we found kind of odd. Good location as it is close to the highway but you don't hear the noise from the rooms.

Older property but very well maintained. The room was spotless. I had a ground level room which opened on to a inner courtyard with a pool and hot tube. Again the pool area and hot tube was very well maintained and inviting. There were chain restaurants near by and some local restaurants a short distance away. I will be back when traveling in this area again!

For the price and an overnight stay, this property was exactly as expected - - thus, the "4" rating. It was economical, so we didn't expect a gourmet breakfast. It was the typical juice/coffee/muffin/fruit offering and, while it didn't suit my tastes, the selection seemed to be pretty extensive. I did have some juice and coffee, which I'd rate as average and a nice "perk" to the room charge.
The room itself was clean and had all the amenities necessary to have a restful night's sleep. The air conditioning unit was a little tough to figure out, so if you have trouble, just call the front desk. The room also had a coffee maker and a small refrigerator/freezer unit. The freezer section kept our gel ice pack frozen, ready for the next day's travel. The walls between the rooms are solid concrete and made for a very quiet stay.
This location was conveniently located off the Interstate and walking distance from Dairy Queen, WalMart and other food/shopping conveniences. Also, within walking distance is the Skagit River, right where the bridge went down. The sunset views from the river were beautiful and colorful when we were there in June.

We stayed at this hotel on our most recent family road trip and were quite impressed. The room was so spacious and most importantly to us, it was super clean. The beds were comfortable which allowed a good night's sleep after driving most of the day. The employees were professional yet pleasant and welcoming.
