“The good life at the Co-op”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2013 via mobile

From the first visit to the Skagit Valley Co-op we became loyal committed fans. Everyone is happy and helpful- the feeling is like being in a village of people who care about each other. The bustling cafe serves healthy, colourful and well priced savouries, soups and desserts. It's a fun treat to stop in for tea or lunch. Homemade ice cream is wonderful, and tea is freely made in individual colourful teapots. The produce section offers beautiful organic items, and two of the best things about the co-op are the mercantile on the second floor, and the apothecary. The philosophy of co-op comes through in every visit, supporting community and fair value for everyone. It's an amazing place.

“Wonderful Place to Buy Groceries and Have Lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

I am a member of this Coop and have been for over a decade. I love this place, especially the deli. It is so much more than just a deli and has fabulous breakfast and lunch food. It's also a great place to get quality groceries, soaps, lotions, etc. I've also attended a few cooking classes here. I highly recommend it. If you are a member of a different Coop, I believe they will honor your membership card.

If you are on I5 and are tired of fast food or chain restaurants then turn off at Mount Vernon and find The Skagit Valley Coop. They haev a grocery store and lunch counter that is to die for. The lunch counter serves fresh made that soups and delights that are amazing. Fresh pasteries and cookies also. Priced very well and very wholesom. My wife the witch has food alergies and was pleased to see that all of the dishes have ingredient lists posted beside they so you dont have to ask "whats in it". Go you will love it.

“In a hurry!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2012

I am usually in a hurry when I come into the Skagit Valley Food Coop and grab my groceries then head to the deli to decide what to take to the ferry landing to eat. I like their lasagne, if I have time to heat it in their microwave and sit down to enjoy. Their salads take some ingredient searching, as I cannot have spicey [and most things are very spicey, as per the current craze]. The chicken legs are always a safe choice. One of my favorite salads of all time was their chicken salad with cranberry and mango chutney [sadly not available this last decade]. Healthy desserts abound, so deciding which to choose is difficult. Currently the lemon muffin and the sand tarts are favorites. Open Mon-Sat 8am-9pm,Sun 9am-9pm
