I love that Hilton is updating their Hamptons...to bad they didn't do this one. It felt like a room out of the seventies. Old, tired and stained. I hope it was just rust on the ceiling. Otherwise, the room was clean. It's close to a mall. There are several meal options within 5 miles. The staff was unattentive. Two examples: 1.) When checking in, they asked if I wanted a water bottle. I replied 'no'. They brought me one anyway. 2.) After my co-worker checked in with another staff member at the same time, and the staff confirmed they were staying for only one night, my co-worker asked for a cookie. The staff member said they were out but would have more tomorrow night. Both very minor things, but I feel it represents this location's overall attention to detail.

We want you to continue loving the Hampton that is why we are renovating our lobby, business center, and fitness room at the Hampton Inn & Suites Lynnwood. We start the project at the beginning of November and you will see a big difference in our property structure. We love to pay attention to details of every guest-and we apologize for the errors affronted to you and your co-workers. We love to do the little things to make every guest feel welcome. We know the special little things to do to make guests feel welcome. We have to (and will) retrain all our staff to do this again. This is going to happen immediately so we can get back to the service quotient we always had. The little things, like the cookies, have to always been made to be enough to accommodate all of our guests. We did it before, and we can do it again, the guest is always right, and we have to make it so with our service. We have to listen to the guest, no matter what the situation. If you do not want water-we should not have given you (or your co-worker) water-our fault. The minor things are things that make guest come back again, and again. We will talk with all our staff so they understand this. We want to be the hotel that you come back to again and again, with no customer delivery flaws. We can do this, because we did it in the past. Thank you for giving us the comments so that we can become better than just average-we can be #1 as we are! We hope you will come back to experience our new upgrades-both in physical features and stellar customer service.

My wife and I stayed at the Hampton October 6-8. We read many reviews and found the Hampton rated as # 1, so we decided to stay there. We have, at other times, stayed at the Embassy Suites, which was fantastic, and at the Holiday Express, which was fine, I would rate the Hampton as #3 of 3 where we have stayed.

The "Happy Hour" at the Hampton was an insult. There were nachos and potato chips, with one lady serving both food and beverages. The breakfast was also an insult; the hot items were cold. As well, there was very little space to sit down and eat.

The room we had was a queen studio with a kitchenette. The room was clean, but dated and is definitely in need of an upgrade. The bathroom tissue was the roughest I have had in the past three years in any hotel! The towels were small and scarce.

There were plenty of young children around, so maybe it's a good choice for families.

We love the Lynnwood area, but we ill return to Embassy Suites for sure during our next visit.

Thank you for staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites, and filling out your comments on our property on Trip Advisor. Your specific critiques will help us make our property better. We want to stay number #1 on Trip Advisor, and your comments will help us. I have my Executive Housekeeper investigating the quality of our current toilet paper. We will change suppliers if we find it is not up to our high standards with our guests. The same goes with our towels-we will continuously change them if they are not to the guest’s liking. We are a favorite choice for families, but we like to keep the kids quiet after hours with our 24 hour security. We apologize for the dissatisfaction that the children had caused you. We, like many Hamptons, are about to undertake a full renovation of our lobby in November. We are going to update our eating area, business offices, and fitness room. We get a lot of positive remarks on our happy hour-which is 7 days of week with complimentary drinks and small snack – but it looks like we have to look at quality of our preparation. So starting today, I will personally check the temperature of the breakfast food and the evening food with my thermometer. We do not want our food to be an insult to our guests, this is never our attempt. We will make sure this never happens again. We want people to stay with us again and again. With your remarks, this will help us be a consistent #1 in Lynnwood on Trip Advisor.We like to listen to the guest at all times, Your statatements will be passed on for our daily training with all the staff so we can get better.Thank you for your comments and hope that you will try us again to see all that we fixed.

This review is actually for August 2011.
We have stayed at this location several times. The staff are friendly and helpful.
The complimentary breakfast has many options and the evening snack with complimentary beverages is very much appreciated.
We have used the fitness room and the pool/hot-tub and enjoyed both.
The double King rooms are spacious and the beds comfy.
The location to various shopping locations and restaurants is great.
The shuttle to local restaurants is appreciated as well.
I look forward to another shopping trip and stay at the Hampton Inn in Lynnwood.

We have stayed 18 nights over the past two months to be with our Seattle family. Most appreciative of the immaculate bedding; comfortable beds, spacious and spotless room, and most accommodating staff. Looking forward to staying again next month.

My wife and I stayed here a couple days ago. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. They offer a hot breakfast and an evening snack. Would stay again for sure. We hat the hot tub suite and loved it!!! Very clean place.

Room Tip: When we went the first floor ice machine was broke.

Our hot tub suites are very popular with many of our guests because they are so comfortable and clean-and they have the hot tub that is very accessible in the room. It is great to hear that you experienced our manager’s reception with the complementary beverage and snack, and our hot breakfast with coffee and waffles. We apologize for the 1st floor ice machine not operational; we do have three others on every one of our 4 floors, but are working to fix the one on the 1st floor. We will have ice for you on your next stay-and look forward to seeing you soon: the hot tub suite awaits your return.

Normally, i read but don't write comment. We are two time visit coming back customers. Both are two night stays. Love the the warmth of reception staff. Great breakfast, happy time, indoor pool. and wonderful location to alderwood mall. Well run hotel. Short distance of drive to almost every where you would like to go. But, my stays are not all that nice though. First time, the tub can't drain well and door lock battery is dead and no one thought of that and I had been to front desk to reprogram the key twice. This time we stay in room 207 right in the 2nd floor right on top of breakfast area. People cheering and shouting, playing loud music in the lounge area as there is a birthday party. Called front desk at 11:30pm after being waiting a long long time and eventually music quiet down and it took a while the noise to fade out and I can finally fall in sleep after front desk intervened. Things not end here yet. Woke around 4am by lound tv and talking went down to get some coffee thinking can't leave it why not join it. Just joking ! Went down to find who is talking to hush things down and it turned out the loud talking was their cleaning staff. Come on ! Talked to the front desk, a sincere young man, apology and suggest me to phone in after booking next time to let booking aware that not to put you in 2nd floor. Come on if you don't call you'll got the suckiest room? What if everyone does call ? Go figure it out. I write this comment and so consider you are warned 'No stay in the 2nd floor'. Chech it out Someone left same comment before. IMO, there should be quiet hours in the lounge area. Otherwise, don't sell those rooms. Maybe, just maybe, the secret of good spot is widely out now and we need to find a new one pretty soon ? It's me your fellow traveller leaving review comment in the early morning at 5:30am and not so sure whether should come back again.....

Room Tip: Never never stay in 2nd floor!!

Thank you staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites Lynnwood/North Seattle and filling out comments on Trip Advisor. Your statements and observations are valuable to us to assist the hotel be a better property. We apologize for the inconvenience affronted to you and your family while staying in room 207-firstly by a party of other guests, then by our night crew cleaning in the area where the party took place. We have taken actions to make sure similar problems like this never happen again. The mandate has been given to the night supervisors to tell party revelers to go to one of our meeting rooms-there are three on property-where they can finish their celebration without disturbing guests after 10PM. We will not charge guests for the room-we just want them to get out of the common areas. We are training our night staff to use earphones on their two way radios (one of the reasons for the noise at 4am), and not turn the TV on in the common area with loud volume. We do have many families that stay with us, and they do comment that a couple of rooms on the second floor are loud from external sounds. We are looking into placing a minimal physical barrier (glass) between the second floor balcony and the common area. This will assist in the quieter hours for room 207. We have plans, the next few months that will eliminate the noise concerns.

Thank you very much for your kind words about our reception staff, great breakfast, indoor pool, and great shopping location. We really agree that you should come back to see all the changes that we have trained and are making in noise reduction-so your next stay will be quiet and peaceful.

Friendly staff, late walk in and they gave us a corner suite for a very good price, room was clean bedding was fresh, located in the shopping district easy walk to stores and mall, would stay here again
