“if you don't have little kids it is great. But there railings are not up to code and a child could go right through.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2013

Nice place if you don't have little children. The first thing my 15 month old granddaughter did was put her head through the railing on the fifth floor. All she would have had to do was to twist her body and she would have been on the first floor immediately. Also the door to the pool had the closer removed so the door could be left wide open for any child to wander in. After a visit to the building dept it was fixed the next day along with other door safety issues. The staff is great and friendly and the breakfast buffet is better than a lot of them out there. If you are a minute late for breakfast you might still get a muffin but not much else. They close it up very quickly including the coffee, which isn't too good anyway.

Thank you for sharing your review of your recent stay at our hotel. We sincerely apologize for the concerns you have regarding the safety of children on our property and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. As you found out form the city of Lynnwood, we are fully whithin the codes for our building and we have been without incident for twenty years. The door closer for the pool was enroute prior to your arrival and just happened to arrive the day after your party. Those doors are unique in size and weight and it takes an euqally unique closer to make them work. Sincerely, the health and safety of all of our guests is a top priority and we will do our best to ensure every part of the property is safe. Your feedback regarding our breakfast operations is also appreciated as we can use it to improve the service we're providing. We hope you will consider visiting us in the future.

From the beginning of breakfast and happy hour to the end, we could hear a roar from the crowd, that varied in intensity while in our room. The bartender at happy hour was smart to give 2 drinks per person, as the line was so long, you wouldn't have to go back.
The breakfast was good with all the standards with omelets made to order.

Room Tip: Maybe choosing a room on the opposite end of the hotel away from the breakfast/happy hour area would...

I stay here on business three to four times a year. The hotel, although aging a bit, is well kept. The staff are extremely friendly and the front desk staff is great. I would recomment a room that is on the pool side of the building. Noise from breakfast and managers reception can be heard from rooms directly above the reception area.

All in all, I really enjoy this hotel and the extra room space provided at all Embassy Suites is always welcomed while on an extended business stay.

Room Tip: would recomment a room that is on the pool side of the building. Noise from breakfast and managers...

Always enjoy this well-run property, well positioned north of the Seattle bottleneck but still convenient to both high-end and outlet shopping. Despite heavy use, the hotel never seems worn and front desk staff or on their toes. The hot breakfast feature- a property mainstay- reads a re-think; the various food stations were well picked over and their postioning in the lobby created a chaotic, almost comedic, mish-mash of colliding guests. Work on the flow, guys...

Room Tip: If travelling without a pet, always request a top floor room. You will be rewarded with a much quiet...

I was here for a courtyard wedding. It was very expensive.
I go here when the kids get all dressed up for prom. We all take group photos all through the lobby and send them off.

It is too far to walk to the mall. There is not a lot to walk to. It's on the freeway and next to other office buildings.

I stayed on business and the room was to be paid for by my employer. The room was reserved with a business credit card. When I arrived I was required to pay with my personal card because they had to have a card to swipe. Well despite the fact that I already knew that was a possibility as it had happened to me before at other hotels, I was still rather irritated and I'm sure they lady that was helping was well aware of it. However, she didn't get flustered or treat me rudely which many do when presented with a grumpy guest. She was wonderful, kept her smile and was genuinely kind. Additionally, she was able to give me back road directions to the conference center I was going to the next morning. It was a quiet, stress free drive. I was very impressed with her despite my less than stellar attitude! Additionally, the room was fantastic, the atrium beautiful, breakfast yummy and their in-house restaurant was great. Excellent stay would highly recommend to anyone!

I stayed at the Embassy Suites in Lynnwood because of meetings that were being held at that hotel. My experience was excellent and unexpected. The staff is superb, it is meticulously maintained and had all the amenities for an outstanding business hotel. I would absolutely stay there again and again but am not often in that area of Puget Sound. Tammy, the manager of the hotel, is to be complimented. Not only is she charming and personable, she also knows how to manage a great facility. I was a flight attendant for a number of years so recognize great service and value. The Embassy Suites certain offers both!
