“The food was exultant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2012

Had reservations for 6:30 but got there at 5:30, they said "No problem" and was seated right away. The food was GREAT. The atmosphere was intimate and the service was good. We'll be going back. (After we save up some money) It was pricey but worth it.

“Best fine dinning in Longview1”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2012

Absolutely the best fine dinning and live music in Longview. Very Classy staff and atmosphere. The wine tastings on Thursday nights is a must!

“A Romantic Dinner in Longview - Who Knew?”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2011

We were beginning our 2nd anniversary trip in Longview. We had to get up EARLY the next morning to meet for a kayaking trip, but we wanted to have a nice dinner on the actual evening of our anniversary. Most of the restaurants in the area are chain restaurants, but we're foodies from the Portland area and that wasn't going to cut it for us.

One thing to note - by day this restaurant is Country Folks Deli and at least when we were there there was no exterior signage for The Bistro so you have to know what you're looking for.

We had some very good & creative cocktails - a Watermelon Mojito was one of them.

We didn't much care for the Gorgonzola Fries - way too much fat but we should have known better. The Iceberg Wedge was nice, and my husband had the Flatiron Steak (the Saffron Aioli was a nice touch) and I had the Pan-Seared Scallops.

Since we were there on a Saturday evening, there was live music - a guitarist/singer, and that was a nice touch, too.

The service was superb - the manager was our server and she was very friendly and helpful and made sure we were taken care of.
