When we first arrived at Andersens, we were greeted by Darlene and Dan who were curteous and extremely helpful. Unfortunately, that is where our enjoyment ended. The first day our 14 year old little Westie was attacked by a Great Dane whose owners were staying in the park also. They were allowed in the park with not only the Great Dane, but three other HUGE dogs. When I told Dan about the attack, he said it was the second complaint on the dog he had gotten. The second day became even worse. When we arrived we were directed to place our trailer as close as we could to our assigned common area, so when we put out our slide, it would not go into the neighbors common area. The entire area you are alloted is EXTREMELY small!! So on the second day, a 36 foot 5th wheel was placed next to us, and they were NOT told to move over, therefore all three of their slides took up half of what little area we had outside our door. We didn't even have enough room to put out our awning. When we spoke to the owner, he more or less told us "too bad". Nothing he could do. They advertise that you get internet service, but that is so intermittent that you can only get on for approximately 25 seconds at a time...and forget about "surfing the web". Although the park itself is kept fairly clean, the parking is attrocious, the spaces are way too small, the dog barking is out of control <most of these were unattended dogs left in RV's all day>, and the nightly price was too high for what you got for your buck. We will NEVER go there again!

I am distressed to read your review as Andersen's has been owned by my family for generations and customer service has always been a very high priority. We take pride in having a high (60%) rate of return customers – I take your comments very seriously. Andersen's is not a fancy resort and our sites are not huge. We did undergo a complete remodel of the park just 8 years ago, so all sites do accommodate awnings and have wired, and wireless, internet. Unfortunately, when the park is full, if many people are downloading movies at the same time, wi-fi service can become slow. I'm very sorry to learn that your issues were not adequately addressed by our staff during your visit and you can be assured I will follow up to correct similar events from occurring again in the future. Do you know the name of the person you addressed as the owner? As I am the owner, and a woman, I'm not sure with whom you spoke. Please contact me at (800-645-6795) at your convenience. I'd like to hear how I can make this right for you.
