This restaurant is under new management and about 2 months into it. We have been there 2 times to try it out. The first time it took 25+ mins to get 2 sandwiches made and we thought it was new owner issues and wrote it off.... this time, there was no mistake and we will think twice before returning.
The girl who took our order had attitude from 'hello', verging on rude. After waiting 31 minutes for them to make 2 sandwiches, I am guessing her attitude is well founded. We had no idea when we went in that it would be such a wait as there was only one other person standing there and what appeared to be several (8-10) patrons sitting at tables. The order taker said nothing to us about the long wait. Later we re-traced our experience and we counted about 15 sandwiches made by 3.5 employees in the 31 minute waiting period. They literally make one sandwich at a time from slicing the meat for each sandwich to wrapping them. So if you go in with 4 people and order individually, the first person will get their sandwich about 15 minutes before the last person. We over heard several patrons talking about a 30-40 minute wait. At least one person cussed them out and stormed out. They only apologized for the long wait after they handed us our order.
I would love to say this is an isolated incident however, it appears that unless the new owner figures out to hire more people or make more than one sandwich at a time, this restaurant will not survive. We love their product but won't wait that long for a sandwich again.
