“Nice surprise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2013

We needed a room for the night because a landslide prevented us from camping at Lake Chelan. We walked in off the street and the front desk was extremely courteous. The four of us stayed in a two room family suite. It included microwave and fridge, and a luxurious bathroom with jacuzzi tub. The incense and candles were a nice touch. Room was quiet, and right in the heart of downtown Leavenworth. Price was good for what we got.

Stayed here on a business trip and saw the special on the hotel website. Got a good rate and had a room overlooking the street. It was surprisingly quiet. Ask for room 214. Rooms are small and European style. Small refrigerator provided that will hold a small milk, juice and some lunch meat. Don't plan on putting excess amounts of food in it. It served its purpose for me. Room also has a coffee maker, microwave and toaster. TV had many channels and was easy to use. Good air conditioning in room. All rooms are located up 2 flights of stairs. There is no elevator. Parking is right across the street and hotel has its own lot. Convenient. My bed was comfortable. This hotel is located in the heart of town on front street so there are restaurants, bars and shops around. Really easy to get around. If you are expecting a modern hotel than this is not for you. The hotel operates its front desk during specific hours so keep that I'm mind. The doors also have dead bolts. Just wanted to give you the full picture.

Worn Down place, but with a decent location. The receptionist told us we could arrive at 10 Am to check our luggage before heading to our Tour. However he had forgotten his words when we arrived. The reception was closed and there was a Sign : please Call if Were not here, we're close by. We called and he told us he was 'far away' - Weird for us since he picked up. The hotel offered no services and the Sundeck was old and had a boring view.

I booked this hotel for my boyfriends birthday. When we first arrived I was told " you have no reservation" so after trying to find my confirmation number the gentleman says oh wait here you are. The hotel was rather spendy and not all that nice but it does have a great location. If your looking for privacy don't stay here. During an intimate moment with my boyfriend we heard our door unlock and someone trying to come in. After they realized it was occupied they shut the door and left. And a very livid boyfriend went to go tell the front desk what had happened. He was told I'm so sorry we were trying to show a room. Needless to say their lack of communication ruined our stay.

We stayed here in the past and have had a nicely appointed if small room. This time we were traveling with our children and were given a room that entered in the back alley next to the bars. We wish we would have stayed at the Best Western up the road. The pull-out was broken and we ended up sleeping 2 of the kids on the floor. Bathroom has no venting and desperately needed it. Way over priced for the low quality accommodation. Thankfully we only stayed one night. Sad, but true.

This is a quirky establishment in the heart of downtown Leavenworth. The rooms have a small bedroom and a small living room with a large bathroom and jetted tub. It is decorated in typical Leavenworth style, it appears older but the theme works. The rooms were nice enough and the location was terrific. We even at on a little deck on the back to enjoy the sunshine the were able to visit the town until it was too hot and we had to retreat back to the air conditioned room. We would stay here again.

Every year a large group of friends and family go to leavenworth for the christmas lighting festival. We decided to stay and the Bavarian Ritz for the first time this last winter because it was in town and less walking for the young kids. That was the ONLY convenient thing of this hotel. The rooms were dirty (inch of dust on the curtains), remotes dont work, hot water was minimal, the window outside of my shower was disturbing, the walls to the bathroom didn't even go to the ceiling... so it was pretty much a bathroom stall. Worst part was the live blues band playing directly under us that stayed loud all the way till 2 am. Kept everyone awake including our young childeren... whom slept on a floor of pillows due to the utter lack of principle and care from the hotel staff. We booked the queen jacuzzi suite... which was to include a couch with pull out bed for our daughter. this was clearly not included, our refridgerator was so small we couldnt even fit ANY food we brought, our coffee pot brewed ONE cup of coffee. For paying over 500 I feel scammed and ripped off. Politely informing the front desk our unsatisfaction in the first ten minutes... I was rudely told I misunderstand and this is not thier problem. I hate the Bavarian Ritz and the staff that did not respect or take care of us. Never go Here! Its a rip off!

Room Tip: Dont ever book here. You wont get any sleep unless you want to listen to poor kareoke from drunks al...
