Yes, yes, I know we were there in the midst of spring melt-off. And the river is, in fact, impressive in flood. But nowhere -- not in the city website, not anyplace at all -- does it note that the majority of the trails are inaccessible. It's a nice park, but from the flooded trails to the construction backdrop to the oom-pah in the distant background, it's a pale version of the nature that surrounds Leavenworth. Nice, easy, but...not terribly exciting. Unless you like wading in mud.
