We stayed for Thanksgiving from Wed-Sun in the Annie Alma Suite. There were two bedrooms each with their own bathroom, which was perfect as we were two couples and the bedrooms were located on either side of a hallway/kitchen area. The location of this suite is on the 3rd floor (1st floor is a pharmacy, 2nd floor is a bar called the Loft, and then the next floor are the 3 rooms that are rented out as part of Alpen Dorf). It is right in the heart of downtown Leavenworth- we were only a block away from attractions. In fact, on Saturday we took ourselves on a wine tasting tour from one side of town to the other and stopped in the middle at our place for lunch/nap before continuing!
That said, because of the location being in where a lot of action is, there is going to be a little bit of noise. However, if you have been in any large city before the noise isn't that much different- you get used to it. There are two kinds of noise you might here. During our stay, they had Christmas music pumping on a stereo for the Christkindlmarkt on Front Street, and as we are also across from the gazebo where live music happens we can also hear that. On the plus side though, when we wanted to hear/watch the musicians, we just sat outside on our outdoor balcony with a glass of wine.
The other kind of noise is from the Loft downstairs, which is a bar. The bedroom immediately right to the door seems to be above some sort of stage area, so if a band is playing you may be serenaded to sleep (you can hear it, but it is muffled). If you are in the bedroom between the kitchen and the living room, I think you are above the bar so you hear muffled voices and whenever the cheer goes up for shots. Its not so loud that you can't go to sleep, if you are not a sensitive sleeper, you will probably be fine. This is the classic tradeoff between staying outside of town where it will be quiet but you will have to drive and park to enjoy the town, or stay in the town but deal with some noise.
The place itself is cozy and is probably best for 4 adults max- that's all the chairs there are at the table, unless you want to eat on the couch. Again, great location if you want to easily be able to pop in and out visiting stores or tasting rooms or whatever event is in the town. Having the kitchen allowed us to save money on meals by eating leftovers (those German portions are large!) and taking back cheese and sausages for snacks and cook for ourselves as well.
