There is so many things to say about Featherwinds and it's all great!
Invited to a wedding of our dear close friends. We had to drive over 200 miles. But we stayed for the weekend and it was great. Our friends rant and raved how beautiful Featherwinds is and how warm, friendly, professional and caring the staff was, I couldn't believe it. Well, when we arrived, I couldn't believe it. Our friends words, did not describe Featherwinds well enough. It was absolutely the most beautiful place we've seen. The staff was very friendly and warm. Never a phoney or forced smile.
Our friends to this day still talk about how Featherwinds made their wedding. That had it not been for Featherwinds staff, their hard work, caring and advice, their wedding would not have been as good as it was.
The staff was very accommodating, friendly, and never seemed to be in a panic. Rick (Featherwinds staff) was like a host. He made sure we all were in the right places and at the right time. The bride said that Rick was always popping up making sure everything was going right and always seemed to know when she needed something. He even had one of the staff get the groom a last minute drink of water to help him calm down.
The flower girl started to cry just as the wedding was to start. Rick suddenly appeared with a could of crackers for her to eat, settling her down right away.
Speaking of flowers, they were gorgeous!! The center pieces, the big arrangements, the bouquets were just beautiful. The prettiest flower arrangements I've ever seen. Hailey (Featherwinds staff) did a fantastic job with all the flowers.
The cake not only looked fabulous, but tasted as good as it looked. I think Dawn? (Featherwinds staff) is a wonderful cook and cake designer. And the big guy cutting and serving the meat, was very nice and polite. He served slices of meat that were so thick, no one could ask for more! All of the staff was great. The younger staff that cleared dishes and helped serve were wonderful.

Obviously, everyone at Featherwinds cares and loves what they do. My hat's off to all of you!
P.S. My husband is getting us a weekend stay with Featherwinds for our anniversary!
