“Nice Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2014

Very nice place to stay while in Leavenworth. great location in town, all the amenities that you need.. The unit we had allowed for separate sleeping areas. The kitchen was nice so we could make a meal instead of eating at a restaurant if we chose..

This is a wonderful, and very affordable place to stay in Leavenworth. We've stayed at hotels in town, but none were as close to shopping and restaurants at this place is. The suites are spacious, and the balcony is HUGE. We always stay in suite #3, because it's the perfect size for us, and very quiet. The view of the mountains from the balcony is wonderful, and very peaceful.

Room Tip: Suite #3 is the quietest and most peaceful.

We have stayed here twice in the past but recently chose a different place- bad idea. We are coming back to you, oh Dream House Suites. Dream House is in a much safer location for those who like to hoof it to town after dark. We never had to call for extra blankets, pillows, etc. It's well-stocked with everything we could want or need. The fireplace actually worked, as did the TV and its remote control. The only negative was the lack of communication. The owners/ managers seemed to have an aversion to email. But it all worked out. Happy New Year!

Room Tip: Ask for the suite with the town view.

I am conflicted writing this review because I am not sure if I would stay here again or not. We stayed in room number 3, which I would probably not do again unless we were traveling with someone and they booked room number 4. The walls are very thin and bed for room 3 is quite near the shared wall between the rooms. Our neighbors for the night stayed up quite late watching TV and talking which didn't make for a very restful night in our room.
That said, the location of this place is fabulous. Just a block from the heart of downtown, everything is within walking distance. Speaking of walking....There is a respectable set of stairs to get up to the rooms, so this probably isn't the best choice in lodging for mobility impaired individuals. Anyway...my number one concern with travel accommodations is always the cleanliness of the room, and our room was spotlessly clean. It was also well furnished and even had hot chocolate and popcorn stocked along with the standard tea/coffee offerings. T
Someone had mentioned that they didn't feel safe with the alley parking....We had no concerns with that at all. There were no shady characters hanging around, the dumpsters were closed tightly and not causing any overpowering bad odors.
If you are here for a one night stay, they do upcharge 20% on your quoted room fee. My bad for not catching that while making the reservation, but I do feel it should have been included in my room quote.
So....would I stay again? I still don't know. I would have to look at how the other rooms were situated, or know the person staying in the room next to me next time. The location is great, the place is clean, but there might be a quieter option elsewhere in town.

My husband and I stayed at the Dream House Suites in August 2012 for our first anniversary and we could not have been happier! The accommodations were fabulous! Everything was so clean and very comfortable. The location was perfect walking distance to everything. It was everything we were looking for. We keep trying to come up with ways we can get the whole family there to rent out the whole place for a weekend. We can't wait to come back!

My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary last weekend, we stayed in Suite#1. It was our first time in Leavenworth, and Dream House Suite is part of the reason why we'd come back :) Although it was a bit chilly in Leavenworth, we had beautiful blue skies and bright sun! The hotel was conveniently in the heart of town (literally below our room) which made site seeing and traveling very efficient. The room overall was a great size, with a separate bedroom, and bathroom. The kitchen had a stove top, microwave, breakfast table, double sink, dishwasher, and full size fridge. The room had a very warm, and inviting feel to it-almost as if you were home. The bathroom was huge! Double sink, closed off toilet, walk in shower, and a jetted Jacuzzi that fits two. Our bedroom had it own private patio that looked down onto Front Street (you can see all the markets, and people walking down the streets-it was nice). Parking was safe and easy-right behind the building, which leads you up the stairs to your room. We probably walked up and down those stairs 5-7 times! Great exercise!

The owners were awesome (we mainly contacted with Lynn), we never met them, but we contacted through phone and email.

We will definitely be back at Dream House Suite!

Room Tip: Suite 1 & 2 over looks Front Street (where all the attraction is)

My boyfriend and I stayed here last July for his birthday and we had the best weekend! The suites are right in the heart of downtown Leavenworth making it very easy to walk everywhere in town! The room was very nice and the shower had two heads, it was so cool! There was a nice little deck area outside our room too! The only downside is that the walls are somewhat thin and we woke up to someone getting it on in the middle of the night! Haha, not a big deal though, we still loved the place!
