My friend and I ate here a few days ago on a trip from Seattle. We had asked around and some locals told us we had to eat here. I had the cruncy Brioche Fr. Toast and my friend just had pancakes. Let me just say that my french toast was outstanding. It was yummy like...oh, like fried ice cream. Some menu items are original, some are standard breakfast fare. I asked a server some questions about the town and she seemed really friendly. My coffee cup was never empty and the inside was filled with apple items to look at while we waited for our food. Bathroom was outside, that was "kitchy" but okay, seeing as it was chilly- but not bad. We didn't have to wait for a table- but our server said in the summer its really busy and they didn't take reservations. So I am glad it was "off-season" and we didn't have to wait. YUMMY

The wife and I stopped here for lunch one day while just walking through Langley. The first thing I noticed was the large cost for lunch and even by Whidbey standards. The menu was also not particularly large.

Now don't get me wrong, the service was good and the food wasn't bad. I just wouldn't stop here again, at least for lunch, unless I didn't have any other options.

If you like home cooking, I mean good home cooking then you'll LOVE the Braeburn. It takes me back to days at mom's house. I've never ordered anything that I didn't just rave about. My advise is "don't come" leaves more food for me!!!!
