“Super Dog Friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2013

Large main floor room complete with stone fireplace and a lovely large pillow for the dogs.
Room service is supplied by Nell Thorn Restaurant and was easily the best "ordered in" meal we ever had.
A very short walk to the Main Street shops and restaurants.
Would stay there again, maybe in the warmer months to enjoy the outdoor space right at our door.

Room Tip: If you have a dog, room 28 is excellent. It is large, 2 arm chairs, table for 2 and a small outside...

The inn is very nice and clean. The rooms had a fireplace and nice furnishings. It felt very homey. You even get free breakfast in the morning.

Nice bonus is the restaurant attached to the inn is excellent. Would stay here again!!

Family weekend was lovely in this spacious room with cozy seating by the fireplace. Great hub location to walk to the attractions of town. Fair breakfast provided by pleasant staff. Would recommend and return.

We would definitely stay again at La Conner Country Inn. Although we had a room near an exterior door (avoid #41 if you are a light sleeper), we found Susie at the front desk very pleasant and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room cozy with a gas fireplace. The continental breakfast in the library beside the fireplace was sufficient to start the day. The afternoon refreshments upon check in were appreciated after our drive. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night so we were unable to check the inviting shops in town. The restaurant next door, Nell Thorn's is a must.

Room Tip: If all that is needed is a shower and not full bath, choose the 2nd level outside entrance. If you...

A good location to stay if going down to shop at the discount malls. About 20 min. from the Anacortes ferry, La Connor has a lot of charm with numerous antique stores as well as galleries and specialty stores. The hotel looks like something out of the 60s with cedar paneled rooms and a gas fireplace. A continental breakfast is included with your stay. Most things are within easy walking distance including Neil Thorne, the number one rated restaurant in the Connor. It is actually attached to the hotel. There are also a number of amenities including a spa and massage package did not partake in.

Room Tip: Probably best to get a room that is not over the main lobby as they start breakfast fairly early and...

We loved our room at the La Conner Country Inn, but we're fans of natural wood and soaring vaulted ceilings, and the fireplace was a nice touch (so were the casement windows that we could open up to the breeze). It was nice to be able to walk to town and restaurants, a good home base. The bed was super comfortable, much appreciated since we'd driven from Odessa via the North Cascades highway, and we were tired from being on the road all day.

Unfortunately it was too warm to enjoy the fireplace, but we'll be back this winter to enjoy another stay. La Conner is a favorite place to come for the weekend, with lots of things to do close by.

The room was clean and okay for the kind of over priced, only bonus is that it was a large room. There was nothing special or spectacular. Upon check in there was no suggestion on places to see or eat. Had to carry our own luggage to the second floor.
There were a few fruit stands kicking around.
We checked in later in the evening and the desk agent made us feel like it was a hassle.

Room Tip: You will need to prob the front desk if you have a questions since our agent wasn't very accommo...
