“Lovely charming inn with great staffh”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2013

This was our first visit to La Conner and would definitely return to the Wild Iris Inn for our next visit. The inn is charming, surroundings lovely, rooms sparkling clean and comfortable. We found the bed to be a bit soft for us so both left with "short-lived" aches in our backs. The fireplace was a nice touch.
Visiting La Conner and the tulip fields and gardens from the inn was easy. As a side note, the tulip fields and displays at the gardens were outstanding.
Back to the Wild Iris Inn - when we left, we complimented the owner about his staff. In the two days we were there everyone of them was very pleasant, helpful and made us feel very welcomed. Staff responding like this to their customers is definitely a sign that they are treated well by management and enjoy their jobs - it seemed to us that each person we met certainly was enjoying whatever their job was.
And lastly, the fresh cookies left in our room each afternoon were truly the best cookies we have ever eaten - they were so good we didn't even leave behind any crumbs!!!

This wonderful B&B located in the charming riverside town of La Conner, Washington is a perfect getaway for the Seattleite looking to spend a weekend in a quiet spot or the out-of-state vacationer touring the state. It's particularly popular during the annual Tulip festival which is good fun in itself.

The rooms are extremely clean and nicely decorated. The beds are ultra comfy. We had a king size room with an outdoor jetted tub and a gas fireplace. The room was cozy and warm on a cold night. The grounds were beautifully manicured and it was great to relax on the deck after a soak. Check in was easy, they have a nice wine list and are helpful and accommodating. The 2 course breakfast was outstanding.

Overall, I was really impressed as I was the first time I lodged here a few years ago. The quality remains the same and it's one of my favorite weekend getaway spots. Awesome value for what you get.

This was the second trip to the Wild Iris Inn - last year in the fall. We came back for the tulips and the wonderful experience at the Wild Iris Inn. La Conner is a funky little town, good food and the folks at Wild Iris are fantastic. The rooms are great - do order the wine and cheese platter - plenty of cheese and crackers for an appy for two and lunch while travelling the next day - or appies for 4 or 5! The breakfast is freshly baked, plentiful and tastes wonderful - so you only need to left overs from the cheese platter for next day lunch. Great place to stay.

Room Tip: All rooms are great - although I particularly like the king size with the hot top on the outside (ot...

Very sweet romantic B&B in La Conner. Located right downtown so easy walk to shops, museum and restaurants.
The Inn offers the most delicious homemade cookies ( a meal in themselves) upon arrival. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Get the room with the jetted tubs on the porch and you can spend a warm evening ( or cold) watching the stars and enjoying a water massage.
Breakfast is plentiful and well done with visits by the host who always have the latest information of the doings in town.

Room Tip: Rooms with jetted tub on porch is great.

My husband and I have traveled extensively-in our 50 years of travel-this has to be our best accommodation-I made the decision from the reviews I read on Trip Advisor-the room was wonderful, there was a private porch for reading and sipping tea-it had a jetted tub(on the deck)-the room was luxurious and quiet. The breakfast was perfect. We will always remember sipping tea on that small deck and gazing over the yard filled with flowers and blossoms.......sigh!

Room Tip: Pick the room with the deck and outside tub!

What a wonderful B & B. The cookies are fantastic - what a nice welcoming treat. We found the room to be very nicely furnished. The bed was so comfy. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and recommended a great restaurant for dinner (Nell Thorn). There was a great selection of DVD movies available as well as newspapers and magazines. Breakfast was so delicious and the server was very efficient and kept the coffee cups full. We will definitely recommend this B & B to all our Canadian friends. Great value - a 4 star experience!

My wife and I stayed one night at the Wild Iris while on a shopping trip to La Conner. Our room was the king casual. It was comfortable and of good size. The two wingback chairs made watching the TV a pleasure. We also enjoyed the DVD selection and the DVD player. Cookies in the room were a delicious treat. I was up before my wife, so enjoyed reading in the lounge and drinking coffee beside the large fireplace. When we went in for the breakfast we were greeted by a very friendly server. She brought out a delicious two course breakfast. My only regret was that it was so filling I could not eat all of it. All in all it was a most enjoyable visit.
