I have been to Oto Sushi a number of times; during Happy Hour and the dinner hour. Here are some recommendations on ordering and what to expect.
If you are there during Happy Hour and order from the nice variety of sushi rolls off the Happy Hour menu, you will probably receive your order quickly as it is prepared at the sushi bar.
If you are there during a busy time and order menu items which are prepared in the kitchen, expect a long wait. Kitchen service is slow and/or understaffed. Orders come out one at a time rather than all at once, with significant wait times in between.
The bigger problem arises when some in your dining group orders a sushi entree (prepared at the sushi bar) and others order cooked entrees (prepared in the kitchen). The guests who order the sushi entrees will be served and done eating before the cooked entrees even begin to be served. And then, the first guest served their cooked entree will be done eating before the last order for your table comes out of the kitchen. Probably not worth the wait. Stick with Happy Hour.
