“TERRIBLE all around”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2012

Note: This property is now called "Eco Lodge". It is no longer affiliated with the Econolodge
Chain. There re some substantial issues with this hotel. I do not recommend anyone staying there at this time.

There are substantial health and safety issues with this property at the moment. It is not suitable for single females or families.

I am not connected withthis hotel. Never been an employee, not relasted to any employee.
My only connection is as a gues there for two nights

3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2010

Stayed one night at the end of April. Hotel sign said "ECO Lodge", not ECONO... The place had a tired and worn look, having seen too many years and too many guests. The swimming pool was not filled and the pool paint was peeling. The restaurant next door was closed down. Landscaping consisted of bare asphalt. However, the important stuff was all there, although a little threadbare around the edges. The room was clean. The manager made an effort to put me next to another single to ensure a quiet night. The tub was spotless along with the rest of the bathroom. Bed was squishy but comfy. Continental b/f consisted of coffee/tea, cold cereal w/milk poured out of a plastic jug, bread for toast, danish, and bagels. A toaster was provided. Butter, jam, and cream cheese were provided as well as two different brands of coffee. Never was able to get all the satellite channels listed on the old TV set in the room. Fridge and microwave were provided in room. Since the room assigned was facing away from Ely Street, there was no traffic noise. A good, no frills, basic value at $49 for a single plus taxes.

Stayed two nights at Econo-Lodge in Kennewick. No problems, nice place to hang your hat and get a good rest. Next to several hiways, but handy for finding your way around the local area. Several people that use to live in the area were also staying there, and gave good input on the area. The rooms are older than some, but were clean and had a Ref, for keeping items cold. Beds were OK, Q-Size. I would stay here again, cost was less than several other Motels in the area. Overall for the buck you get your $$$ worth. R.
