“Very nice hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2013

This Holiday Inn is outside of Seattle but with easy access to the downtown area as well as to the Bellview area. The hotel is in a nice area with easy access to local restaurants. This hotel also has a restaurant inside which serves very good food. The hotel is always very clean and the rooms are comfortable. Also is may seem like a small thing but they offer a very extensive offering of tv channels. The Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. They now offer a free shuttle to SeaTac which is very nice if you don't want to rent a car. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

Thank you so much for your nice comments! We really appreciate that you sent these to us, and we hope to continue to be of great service to our guests. I noticed that you had commented on a shuttle from the hotel to the airport. We do have a shuttle and it is for the general Issaquah area only and is not available for airport transfers. Thank you again for your nice comments and please come and see us again soon!

This is the closest hotel to Costco Wholesales headquarters.....walking distance. Forget the high end business hotels and fees. These people welcome you by name after a stay or two and have things all set just as you like them. This place is always improving... it is super clean, quiet and just perfect for business travel.... would not stay anywhere else!

If you like Days Inn's, you'll like this place. Clean and nice enough. It is very typical of what you expect to find in a Days Inn property. It is clean, nice and functional but is not going to "wow" you the moment you walk in the door.

It is worth noting that they have a restaurant/bar that is quite good. I was very pleasantly surprised by both the food quality and the level of service.

I would not hesitate to stay here again if I needed a hotel in Issaquah. It is a solid hotel and in a really good location.

Pros: Very clean! That's my #1 priority in a hotel and the bathroom and beds were spotless. I somehow booked a king and wanted two queens and it was no problem at all. The bathroom had one of those curved curtain rods that makes it spacious (I love those!) The lotion/shampoo provided smelled divine. I felt very safe here. There was even a chain on the door (not that it felt like we needed it!) The beds were super comfortable. They came with soft and firm pillows that were labeled. (Nice touch!)

Cons: Coffee but no tea in room. Site says they have a fitness center affiliation but I saw no mention of it in the book that comes with the room. If I wasn't going snow tubing I would have used it, no idea what/where it is. Would have liked a channel guide for the TV. I couldn't find anything vegetarian/vegan in room service so we picked up food at PCC across the street. Our room was cold and couldn't find a thermostat. (But there was an extra blanket on a shelf in the closet so we were fine!) Would have liked some brighter lights in the room.

Dear Guest,
Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts on your recent stay with us. It is very nice to hear the positive remarks and even more so the areas we can improve. You brought up a very good point about the lack of information on the fitness center that we have an affliation with and I will have something put in our guest service directory as soon as possible.
My apologies about not having a TV listing in the room. There was an upgrade to the cable equipment which changed the channel line in addition to approximately 15 new channels. The new channel guides have been reprinted and are now in the rooms.
I will bring to the table a discussion with our management team the other points you brought up such as tea selections in the rooms and vegetarian menu choices.
Thank you again and we look forward to being your host again in the future.
Sincerely,
Paula Pickering

We have stayed at the Holiday Inn, Issaquah several times. The rooms are spacious and quiet and the beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant. The food was served hot and tasted great. The staff were warm and friendly. We had one incident when the hotel was booked full with a Class Reunion, some of the guests got quite loud in the hallways. One call to the front desk and the problem was dealt with within minutes.

Room Tip: We prefer being on the main floor facing the pool.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Facility was a little older, a bit tired physically, but clean and comfy. Staff was all very friendly. We had a few goof-ups at breakfast (errors on our order) but we got past that. Two real lowlights to the place and why I would look elsewhere in the future if I ever was in need of an Issaqauh area hotel; 1) the walls were paper thin, you got to hear every noise in each of your neighbors rooms, 2) they have a bar but they close at 11pm. We got back to the hotel and wanted to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and chat about the day, but could not. And that was Saturday night. :-(

My hubby and I like to go play at the Snoqualmie Casino, which is about 2 hours drive from where we live. None of the hotels in North Bend are decent, they are old and ran down and not clean. So we will drive the 10 minutes to go to Issaquah and we really enjoyed the Holiday Inn there. It is easy to get to off I-90, and there is plenty of shopping close by. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean and the bed is comfy. We have not eaten there, due to our love of the restaurants at the casino. But for the price, the Holiday Inn is a very good bargain.
