“Very nice park on the beach”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2013

Although this is on the "beach" don't think it's by the ocean :) After walking to the start of the beach, it's about 1/2 mile to the actual water, so be prepared. The facilities are great and well maintained. The yurts (we stayed in one) are very nice, although not really worth the money they charge per night. One thing to be aware of is that there is a HUGE skylight at the top of the yurt. So, if it gets light early you will get blasted early. And if it stays light late into the evening, you will have light late into the evening. For those who are light sensitive, you might want to bring some eye shades or something.

“One of Washington's nicest State Parks”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2013

This is one of Washington's nicest State Parks for camping. We had site #74 down by the beach - just over the burm from the sand and beach. The beach sites are spacious and pretty private. The roads are nicely paved. The pads are mostly level and paved. The park is clean, the staff are polite and leave you alone and generally, at least down on the beach sites, it was quiet. The bathrooms are clean and modern. The only complaint I have is the showers. The showers are a separate room with a nossle that pretty much wets the whole room - no where dry to stand after a shower. Remember to buy your tokens before trying to shower - $1 buy two tokens - 2 tokens buys 3 minutes of shower. The beaches here are lovely and quiet. There are a bunch of campsite - non utility that are up in the woods if you like camping in the woods. This is a very nice park and we will return here.

“Clean, lots of trees, but”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2013

What a wonderful campground. Clean bathrooms, sites are tidy, yet lots of nice trees. Close to the beach. Just one complaint: don't leave your ice chests outside your trailer or they'll be gone in the morning! Several of our party, plus other campers lost everything from their gallon of milk, to their scooters! Would love to come back. Just hope they catch the heathens before we do, or we may not be sleeping through the night ...

“Clean. Good showers. Trails are kept up.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

Took family for three nights. Enjoyed each and every day. Was able to let kids run and play safely. Our sight even had some privacy to it.
